The Three Chefs at Bude in Cornwall

July 2019 - RIBs oh boy a delight, this place is amazing really friendly staff so glad I booked and managed to get in on a Friday evening our last night in Bude. Biggest regret not finding this place earlier to eat twice in the week. Will definitely be coming back when in Bude next. You guys are doing great don't change anything :) Its such a same its nearly 300 mile round tripMarch 2022 still visiting here ribs just as good friendly staff as always. Looking forward to returning in July

I felt the restaurant lacked comfort, hard woods seats with no comforts. I would like to see flavored gin and fever tree flavored Tonic. The steaks were chewy, aged beef would be a better option. The cleanliness could not be faulted. We were if we could wrap up our evening to make way for new guests which was a shame.

Booked a table here as we were staying near Bude for the weekend.Town was pretty busy, not many places had tables available.The Deck is nicely decorated and clean..staff are nice but a bit over busy.We arrived early for our table, and were met with a frosty greeting making it clear asking to sit at a free table was a real imposition.Menu has a nice selection steaks, grills and seafood. The skewers are really good value. Steaks are expensive at ~28 for 10oz.Unfortunately for us, our food wasn't quite cold but wasnt piping hot - given how busy place was - guessing it was a blip.Staff left a little to be desired in service, but overall the place was okWould recommend having skewers an mussels- both are good value

Great friendly welcome lovely staff. Amazing food well cooked had the Steak Burger with Monterey Jack, bacon, chill jam and seasoned skinny fries very yummy. Priced well, lovely decor, clean and tidy. Fantastic views over towards Bude beach.

We came in for a last min dinner and the service from the start was amazing. Jo was well presented friendly and so helpful. The food was out of this world well presented and held its temperature throughout consumption. The prawns and skinny fries with garlic dip really did hit the spot. The wife had duck balls and chunky chips and said it was perfect. Great vibes clean and friendly staff with amazing food what more could you ask for 10 our if 10 thank you so much guys xxx

Really great food! A little hard to find if you're not from the area, but really great food, lovely environment and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit if you're down this way!

Great food, the burgers are fantastic and so tasty. My wife had the surf and turf hanging skewer which was amazing. Great service and reasonable prices.

Just including pictures to prove we’ve actually been eating in this place. The drinks are alright and service is attentive - that deserves the two stars, but whoever prepared the food simply don’t know how to cook. The rump steak in the surf and turf was very hard and impossible to chew, which is a huge let down. The flavour of the sauce on the hot wings were very strange, and the burger was average at best. Most of the food was served cold anyway. And I’m surprised to see all the raving reviews earlier, I won’t recommend this place to anyone who would like to get some food.

Visited whilst on golf society weekend. Went for lamb skewers, salt and pepper squid and dirty fries. Skewers were cold, battered squid was soggy. My friend ribs were alright. My other friend had surf and turf skewers and said they were also cold.. Host and service was amazing and drinks reasonable but a little disappointed as quite a few had said how amazing it was..

Very laid back place that serves good quality food (and big portions). Both seafood and burgers were super tasty. The interior and the good presentation is very quirky. They are also child friendly and are very attentive towards the families with kids which is a big bonus.
