The Top House Inn in Cornwall

Stayed at the Top House bed and breakfast. Great staff, good breakfast, nice size large room (Housel), modern clean nicely decorated. Great out of season room rate. If your planning to stay at the Lizard, then i would book with confidence.

This pub is a real find. We’ve just stayed near the Lizard and are here on 2 occasions. The food is excellent, I had steak one night and the catch of the day the second, both superbly cooked. The staff are really friendly, very helpful and create a really welcoming atmosphere. The pub feels really cared for, beautiful daffs on each table tonight. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

We went for food and drinks. Great atmosphere and tasty food. Highly recommend. The Food was soo good my lady friend said that the sauce on the prawns 'should be illegal' because she couldn't stop slurping it from the bowl.

Probably the best pub/restaurant I have been in for many years. Staff are so friendly, food is the best I have had in years. Honestly people hidden gem find it and enjoy

The Top House Inn is a top house place to stay. The owners, Andy and Margaret have only recently taken over the pub and have already established a relaxed but busy, buzzing and welcoming place to gather and socialise for both locals and visitors alike. They have been refurbishing the whole pub to make it clean, warm and welcoming. Whilst retaining its historic charm with almost a 'museum' of interesting local pictures, information and artifacts in communal areas, it also has all the more modern amenities required for todays visitors.Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff helpful, efficient and friendly, food excellent with a new chef keen to develop and extend the menu. As an added 'extra', we were welcomed with a birthday cake specially made by Margaret for my husband - delicious and such a thoughtful touch. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Top House Inn as a good place to stay - we hope to be back when the weather might be a bit 'kinder'.

Called in for lunch today, cracking pub with friendly staff and cracking food. One of the best selections of non alcoholic beverages I have seen. I had the pollock fish and chips, highly recommend delish.

Well worth a drive to the Lizard. Lovely welcome from the owner as we walked in. Had a fantastic Rib Eyed Steak along either the rest of the group. Perfectly cooked. This place is a little gem and we will be going back.

Fantastic, local pub. Warm, welcoming and a great choice of drinks. The food was lovely too. Visited multiple times on our Christmas holiday in the village.

Had a fabulous meal at the Top House. Risotto with sea Trout was delicious, steak,ale and stilton pie was fantastic and garlic king prawns superb. Great food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely return. Thanks to all at the Top for a great evening.
