Myself and my partner booked a Sunday Lunch after a number of recommendations. We were not disappointed. One beef and one pork, locally reared, vegetables grown locally, excellent gravy, I'm trying to find something I disliked. Lovely airy restaurant, superb walk around the grounds, friendly and helpful staff. You get what you pay for in life.

We were excited to come and visit here as we had not been before and it was our first day off in a couple of months. It took us a couple of hours to get to the gardens and so we were ready for a cup of tea or coffee and a bit of cake by the time we arrived. It was just before noon and there was lots of space outside as it was not a great day weatherwise. We were just waiting to get to the counter when we were called to one side by a lady and asked what we wanted. When we said just a couple of teas and a piece of cake we were told that they would not serve us as they were getting ready to serve lunch and expecting to be inundated, although it was not busy at the time. She then looked awayin what we felt to be a very dismissive manner. If a cafe cannot manage to deliver a cup of tea it is a pretty poor show and we were so disappointed that we did not feel like paying to have a look at the gardens after this.Instead, we went to The Wayside cafe at Zennor where the staff did seem plaesed to see us. We had a nice light lunch there and then spent the afternoon at Trengwainton Gardens so the day tuned out well for us in the end!

Really lovely food. One of the nicest meals we've had this trip. Interesting options for vegetarians too. Do book ahead.

Beautiful spot for lunch. Well worth a visit even if you're not visiting the gardens. I'd love to go again of time allowed

Had a delicious lunch at Tremenheere kitchen. Staff were very friendly and the menu carefully selected to showcase the dishes. Had the pesto linguine and the crab.

Literally everything on their menu is amazing. We’ve tried them all over three meals during our one week stay in St. Ives. The staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere is so lovely. We can’t recommend this place enough.

Amazing food in a glorious outdoor setting amongst succulents and with a sculpture in the distance - perfect for a summer lunch. We had a superb fish & chips and mussels. Plus, for pudding, honestly the best scone with cream and jam I’ve ever had - so good I didn’t even get a picture before I scoffed it!!I’d recommend booking as it did get busy (July).

Seating inside and out as well as a terrace. Covid regulations well managed. Booking recommended. Lovely fresh fish and imaginative menu. Gluten free and vegan options.

The food here is just delicious, quality ingredients simply cooked and beautifully presented! We are hooked on the homemade tortillas, triple cooked chips and croque monsieur!!! The settings are lovely too, a stylish modern interior with a log burning stove, colourful chairs, locally made pewter seashell condiment dishes and always fresh flowers which are also available to buy! The attached gallery is filled with unusual and reasonably priced makes from local crafts people. A must when visiting this area

Perfect place to have lunch on a sunny day. Serving tasty, fresh food in generous portions. We had the mackerel nicoise and crab linguini. Both had well balanced flavours and were nicely presented. Inside and outside (in the shade) seating available. Service friendly, but a bit slow I highly recommend to make reservation, by either calling them or reserve before you walk into the sculpture garden.
