Our experience at this restaurant was extremely poor - made all the worse for being on Mother’s Day - a special occasion and a day when alternatives are hard to come by. We had specifically booked a table outdoors as two of our party were over 70 and vulnerable to Covid. On arrival we were met by the member of staff who had been left in charge. He was shockingly ill-mannered. He gruffly told us that some staff were absent and so no tables were available outdoors but offered no solution. Despite there being a free table close to the window indoors, he insisted we sat at the very rear of the busy room at a same sized table. When my mother suggested she sit outside and the family bring her the food rather than the staff, he yelled ‘do what you want! - directly at her!. To say he was rude and unprofessional would be an understatement. Safe to say we did not stay and were lucky to find a far more accommodating option elsewhere. Poor show indeed and we can only conclude the setting they enjoy at the heart of Polzeath has allowed them to become complacent.

Such a fun place with a great view of the ocean. My wife and I split the fish and chips which were really good. My daughter got the pizza. Beer selection good and service is excellent. We had a late lunch and enjoyed our time there

The Waterfront bar and restaurant is located in Polzeath Cornwall, lovely elevated position with views of the beach, food was good. Polzeath is a popular surfing 🏄‍♀️ 🏄‍♂️ beach. Polzeath is mainly focused on the surfing and body boarding, so only surf shops; boutiques; gift shops and a few cafes and bars serving food.

Dropped in here many times over the last 12 years. This restaurant provides a good first floor vista of Polzeath beach. Food is good quality well presented. Varied menu choices. Staff are friendly. Dog friendly too

Great location & really nice choice of food considering we're well out of season. Scallop starter & Hake & N'duja fava bean main were delicious. Some decent local Sharps beers and a reasonable wine list. Service was excellent.

Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and in a perfect setting for the beach and sunset. The food was lovely and plentiful.

·

Great bar that serves a decent selection of beers including a good few form Sharpes. Food is also excellent but the best part is the incredible location with views across Polzeath beach.

Good food and good beer, amazing views from the balcony and dog friendly! Advisable to book to make sure you have a space as it gets quite full, only downside is they could do with more staff to meet with demand. Would definitely recommend though!
