The Watering Hole in Cornwall

With a prime location directly on the actual beach, it becomes really busy.Inside they sell food, both hot and cold.There's a counter to the left selling hot drinks and cakes.( I can recommend the hot chocolate)In the middle you have the bar selling alcohol and cold drinks.Order at the bar or counter.You can eat outside on benches covered by umbrellas, or inside.Dogs are allowed as they're allowed on the beach.Dog water bowls are located about the tables.Star dropped as the toilets are a bit manky looking and dirty.

Great location but my review is to comment on the plastic "glasses" in use. I have no problem with these but it's such a shame that they're single use ones. There are some great, sturdy plastic glasses available which you could charge a one-off 50p for, then they can be reused, or if branded with attractive designs, will be taken home by visitors to be reused.

Went with a friend for a drink of coffe and then want to see bean's on toast who was fantastic a very chilled out night with a good music artist and the crowd we're very chilled out all in all it was a good experience and I will be going back.tunes in the dunes is coming up.staff was very friendly.

Surprisingly good although a little pricey. The place is a little run down and needs some tlc, toilets are out of soap and a bit dirty. But the food was good. We had fish and chips and it was really good. The beer was decent as well. If we are out on the beach again we will definitely visit again.

Really great laid back chilled atmosphereBeen here for the week and always great to end an evening here, watching sunset as it fades away over the ocean is just great!Different beers and drinks come at different pricing ( Carlsberg being the cheapest, most pints are around £6, but... They really are a great beer)Toilets could do with a like of paint and update, but they back on the beach, I could guess they get heavily used in peak season so you kind of expect this.Not eaten there yet but can definitely tell the food looks amazing when it's being carried past the table, options to eat in and out on their beach bar seating.Shall try get some photos of the bar and features and upload later

Always one of my stops in Cornwall great food and beverages all enjoyed by the sea . Gets busy in the summer school holiday season so get there early or late lol

Amazing food, the piri piri fish burgers are fantastic, as are the nachos just what you want after a morning in the sea. Kids loved the hot chocolate with all the works.

Great spot for a drink right on the beach. Our dog had great fun digging in the sand under the benches. Also have tvs showing sports to watch all the matches.

We have always loved the food here, but it has definately gone down hill.We bought a burger, which cost £10 on its own without chips, when I got it it was a bun with a bit of lettuce, a small bowl of chips which cost £4.50.When I complained the managers answer was it is because of the location, but it is in the same location as when the food was good. I can understand that you pay extra for location but the food was rubbish and her attitude was very much, tough.
