The Widemouth Manor Restaurant in Cornwall

Visited while on holiday in Bude. Great place with an excellent carvery! Dog friendly and amazing views of widemouth. Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough! Well done Widemouth Manor. Will be back when in Bude again

The sunset bar is just gorgeous. Amazing setting, still takes my breath away and I live here (Bude). Fast friendly service. Perfect for eating out day or night. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic stay at the manor. The room was thoughtfully laid out with all you could need and the decor was really well thought out. The whole place was comfortable, clean and the atmosphere relaxing. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious both at dinner and breakfast! We would definitely recommend this place to others for a lovely relaxing time away.

THE OWNER AND HIS SON GET DRUNK, AGGRESSIVE AND VIOLENT! Had booked a room, and was chased out by the owner and son swearing and shouting at us and threatening us because we complained about the cleanliness of the room. Didn’t received refund had to find another hotel last minute. Horrendous and unbelievable experience. Have heard others have experienced similar. NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM A HOTEL!

A stunning location with rooms at very reasonable prices. Despite its pretty standard menus and very average coffee the rooms are kitted out FANTASTICALLY! The staff were also very willing to help wherever they could....I guess they can't influence the coffee choices. I think it's only a matter of time before they climb to the next level- unfortunately I guess the price would have to climb then too...but the coffee would improve...Now excuse me as I pull my tongue out of my cheek and put the kettle on....

We, a party of 3 arrived unannounced just as the restaurant was about to close, however we were greeted with open arms and made to feel very welcome. Phoebe looked after us very well, Her name means radiant and bright and she certainly lived up to it.The food was excellent. I enjoyed the best, most succulent and tasty rack of ribs I have ever had in any restaurant in the world.Most definitely give this place top marksMichael

Everything was PERFECT with our stay,Our daughter’s wedding reception was held there on the Saturday everything.It was a most wonderful occasion and the staff were magnificent.The food was excellent and could not even resist the ‘full English breakfast’ on the Sunday morning!The decor was delightful.A special thank you to Becky for her organizational skillsWell done Widemouth Manor!.Can’t wait to come back for a visitI cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Went her with family on a Tuesday in October and I have to say it was quite busy, probably two thirds full. So I'm guessing booking in advance is advisable. Also note that children aren't allowed in the Sunset restaurant on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Food was mainly classic dishes, nothing too fancy at all. But everything was cooked to a high standard and plenty of gluten-free and vegan options. A little expensive for drinks, over £7 for a wine spritzer is a bit steep in my opinion. Service was good and waiting staff were very friendly and welcoming. Sunset restaurant also boasts some stunning views of the Cornish coast, well worth a visit.

We have always enjoyed our experience at The Manor. Me & hubby were there last month for my birthday & because i have a health condition i asked for a cushion & i was provided with one. Great place, nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Highly recommend ☺
