We were in a well equipped and comfortable self catering unit. We did enjoy a hotel breakfast one morning which was plentiful and delicious. We also enjoyed a hotel evening meal one evening. Costs towards upper end but worth it. Good swimming pool and grounds. Lovely view over St. Ives. Only drawback was absence of laundry facilities, had to go into town and they have also pernamently closed the sauna steam room. We stayed for 7 days.

Staff absolutely great. Disabled ramps not fit for purpose. 8ft sash windows do not keep out the cold but i am sure it would be lovely in warm weather. Food excellent. Stunning views.

Two night break was, as usual, very good. Hotel has seen some Improvements since we last visited just prior to Covid. It is still our favourite place to stay when visiting Cornwall!

Wonderful stay at Tregenna Castle over the weekend with my wife and 2 children. We stayed in one of the lovely properties attached to the main building. Very clean and comfortable. Staff in all areas very helpful and friendly. We left it last minute to eat at the hotel and the Restaurant Manager couldn't have been more accommodating in fitting us in. Really enjoyed the dinner and the included breakfast. Will definitely be back. Oh and swimming pool was toasty warm !!

The hotel itself is in a great location. The bar, restaurant and lounge areas are nicely decorated with friendly and welcoming staff. The leisure facilities are a huge let down. The pool area looks and feels grubby, lockers not working and jacuzzi out of action. We won't be returning due to this fact.

The food and facilities are fantastic,. There's a but, I had a superior deluxe double room, well it was 2 single beds pushed together, the mattresses were upside-down, my head was on the foot only end, the bed was so uncomfortable I slept on the 2 seater settee with a towel and coat around me, no other bedding supplied, and only 2 small pillows for the bed, the hot tap was leaking in the bathroom over the floor, also cracked window in bathroom, corner of the bath broken with trim hanging. I would not say this was value for money as a lot of facilities were closed also.

My family took me for my birthday for afternoon tea. It was really lovely. Gorgeous food and fantastic service. Highly recommended x

Always love our stays at Tregenna. Lovely staff; beautifully clean everywhere; so helpful. Only issue this time - I was told 2 steps up and then down to our room (partner can barely weightbear at the mo). It was actually 4 steps each time which was a real struggle. However room Ideal once in it!

The grounds are picturesque and the staff are lovely. The parking was not fantastic.. Car park was rammed! Our experience was let down by the rooms and the food. We chose a two night package which included breakfast, one dinner and a round of golf. The breakfast felt a little like a greasy spoon and a few additions to the sides of croissants and cocopops. No granola to be seen! I had a carbonara style meal in the restaurant which I was disappointed with as it tasted only of creamy water. Lacked flavour, then other party of 3 with me also stating the same about their dishes. The dessert was a winner.. Beautiful! And much needed! Our rooms then.. We had no TV.. Kept dropping signal. Massive gaps in the main door which we had to try and block with clothing. Sound like we were under the main boiler which was very noisy. Our friends room had difficulty locking the door and a broken window. Curtains also didn't fit property across the windows! The weather had other ideas for the golf! It is such a shame as I had super high hopes for this hotel!

Great location. Contactless checkin was smooth. On site parking. Apartment was spotless, spacious and comfortable. Reception really helpful. Walkable by a path into town and several local beaches. Nice coastal path walks. Not overlooked and a great view.
