Didn't book in advance but managed to get an inside Sunday lunch table. Fantastic food and wonderful service . We all chose a different Sunday dinner (meat and veg) option. Small portion was large enough, despite us all having good appetites as left just enough space for pudding and coffee. Plenty of space for highchairs or wheelchairs/walking aids and bathroom on the same level. We then had a lovely walk around the small animal enclosure to see the piglets and lambs. A nice outing as well as fantastic food.

The roasts were incredibly tasty. Amazing portion sizes. Really good value. The place was packed but the staff were so focused and attending to everyone quickly. The deserts are out if this works. The selection is huge and the portion sizes top the main course. We booked, I suspect that's advisable of a weekend although it looked like some people were arriving and being seated without bookings too, so give it a try if you're in the area. Really impressed.

My wife reminded this place from 3yrs ago, I had forgotten about it.We returned and it is still amazing food we have taken my mother for lunch she was well pleased.First picture is my farmer's platter, second is my mum's New York Deli sandwich. There cakes and Puddings are amazing too.We went on a Tuesday early afternoon so was not too busy, but we did get asked did we book so if you can book a table. They do a roast every day it looked good. Some pictures of breakfast I hade the large one and wow it did me all day & I like my food very good price think mine was 9.95....2 sausage2 egg but I had scrambled so seems more2 bacon (may want to ask to cook a little longer)Beans, sliced fried potatoes2 toastTomato& Hog pudding very nice too (Not like black pudding)

Big restaurant but because of all the little cosy corners you won, tnotice that. Friendly staff, great food and an huge amount of delicious desserts.Tip" Don't take a starter but save the space for the desert

Dropped in unexpectedly. Immediately seated and advised this was table service and someone would be along shortly. They were. Excellent quality food, reasonable portions and a fair price. Not the cheapest, but in line with the quality of the food. Our meal was not rushed and staff were available as needed throughout. Absolutely will be back.Edit: Did go back, see 2nd pic, just as good!

Good portion size and tasty food, but I’ve had better service in chain restaurants. The wait staff walked past us on a few occasions, without asking if we were ready to order. The drinks boy spilt my drink spilt all over me, (ok, accidents happen and luckily I was wearing black), but *I* cleaned the table (and myself), and then he still asked if I wanted a new bottle…. 😂 The wet napkin also remained on the table untouched for the duration of our meal.Lots of parking though and nice shop, with lots of tasty foods to buy.

The food and service here is incredible! Both myself and my family have visited here several times and we've never had a bad experience! We regularly drive down to visit from Plymouth due to how amazing it is! Can't wait for our next trip 😀 we definitely recommend it to all!

Absolutely unreal food! The best! This restaurant has been recommended by my partners family who has been coming to Newquay for years and every year they visit here! So glad we came, cannot fault the food or the staff, atmosphere is lovely, the little story about how Covid hit this restaurant is worth a read, very touching! Will certainly be returning next year. Cannot wait!!

There are no words for how exceptional the food here is. The brisket is the most tender, perfectly cooked beef ever, the lamb falls apart. The duck is incredible. BUT, just wait for the desserts. Never before or again will a human smile as much as they do when the desserts (which you can have half and half of, in order to enjoy two) are placed in front of them. Perfection
