Twisted Currant in Cornwall

Lovely little place with amazing food and nice staff! Had afternoon tea and I was impressed, nice selection of sandwiches and cakes and the fresh scones were amazing. Really impressed with the tea!

Excellent tearoom serving hot and cold drinks alongside really good food in a relaxed atmosphere.Called in for breakfast before a 300 odd mile drive back home. Went for the full breakfast and added black pudding, it was surprisingly large and used excellent quality ingredients with thick bacon and delicious sausages.Staff were friendly and approachable, we felt welcome and at no point felt like tourists.The non breakfast food menu looked really good as did the cakes, and yes, they do cream teas.... obviously.Highly recommended, delicious food and good value for money.

Gluten free! Vegan! They have a lot of options. Nice staff. However, if you want afternoon tea, book ahead. That is the only booking ahead you can do. Sadly many customers didn’t show for meals they booked so only afternoon tea booking is allowed and required. Delicious gluten free cakes and scones with cream teas. They use Tea grown and made in England. After you but Cornish tea at Twisted Current, turn on Gue to Jake Boex ceramics to take home a beautiful Cornwall inspired tea cup.

Great little cafe offering a good variety of food. We had crab sandwiches which were very good. The highlights were the home made scones with a pot of quality tea served in a tea pot with china mugs. This makes such a difference, so congratulations for this as not many can do this. Great service too.

Really lovely cafe. Opened a bit early so none had to wait outside and served a very special breakfast. Even the doggies got a treat :-)

Cosy little tea room, offering decent grub and nice, relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed their giant breakfast sandwich, and the coffee was pretty good too. Excellent service, friendly and professional like everywhere else we've been in Cornwall. Parking is slightly tricky if you aren't local, but the bays directly outside offer 30 minutes. It's not London, so you're most likely fine if you wanna risk it. Otherwise there's car parks nearby. My partner had the full English, which she enjoyed too. Prices are reasonable and we would happily return. Thanks for a great breakfast.

Gorgeous café with really friendly staff and wonderful vegan breakfast. Lots of gluten free options too. Would love to go back again some day.

Had a bit of a hiccup as short staffed and forgot my salad and our drinks but were lovely and do apologetic, was lovely outside eating area and the best salad I have ever eaten will be returning x

Amazing breakfast. Went to Twisted Currant for breakfast and wasn't disappointed! Lovely food and great service. We will be going back for lunch very soon!

Lovely little place. Friendly and great service. We've been here a few times over the years while holidaying here.Lovely cakes and even better afternoon tea with 'bubbles'. It's worth booking due to popularity and the limited space available.The staff are really nice and doing a great job at The Twisted Currant.
