W C Rowe Bakery in Cornwall

Lovely pasties as always, but the lady servicing us was very rude and muttering stuff under her breath about us that I didn't appreciate. Not even a smile or a thank you for our custom.Lunch time. Wednesday 6th April 2022

Don’t bother going at 8am. No point. They won’t be open and if they are, they’ll have no stock.

I work here good food, great service and friendly staff.

Place is quiet yet absolutely filthy, had to clean the chairs before we could sit down, rubbish left on the tables and benches

I asked on three separate occasions.... "Do you have a vegan and gluten free pasty?" "Just to confirm, it's a vegan and gluten free pasty" "one more time it's definitely, vegan, and gluten free?" The answers I got were "yes it doesn't have any allergens" "yes it doesn't have any allergens you're safe" and "yes it's vegan but it has stake in it" 🤦🏽‍♀️ check, check, and check again!

Very delicious. Rowe's is always gonna top Greggs. Shame its only exclusive to Cornwall.

Giving a one star was hard. The fresh scones tasted like they’d been made three days ago. There again the customer service was just as bad as the scones dried and poor quality. Won’t go back

Visited here today for a coffee and sandwich. It was awfull, the baguette sandwiches had clearly been there for a while. The tuna was dried out and brown and the cheese was so old it was curled up. They were still however full price , so I asked if they made fresh ones. He looked at me like I was stupid and pointed to the stale ones and said no, we still have these here.We ordered pasties and sat down and also ordered two coffees. These were also horrible, water and bitter.I was very shocked at the quality of this bakery.

This place has tasty sausage rolls but when I went to this place 2 weeks ago I couldn't find the chocolate milk.

Had a reasonably priced giant pasty here for lunch while visiting Truro. Homely feel cafe above the shop with attractive paintings on the walls. A welcome break from the rain.
