Big portions. Great food. Fish finger sandwiches in particular. Friendly service. Dog friendly. Almost knocked a star off as the background music was quite loud. But overall really enjoyed my visit.

Lovely, freshly made food. Good service. Great place for a lunch.

Go here for the worst scone in Cornwall, the worst we've had anywhere. It was late to the table and the reason was it had either been microwaved and/ or defrosted. Butter had been put on the hot plate which we couldn't spread, so we 'poured' on to the steaming, dessimated scone.Waves - if they are Cornish people, shame on you!We were on holiday - I didn't complain. Mistake

Vast portions on the company sandwich we really enjoyed it, One thing is the price soft drinks are all over £3 which is alot of money with a full table, 3 sandwiches 3 drinks came to over £40 so bear that in mind , can't knock the food though.

Lovely place to eat. Staff superb, cleaning, serving etc. Well worth a visit for door step sandwiches and more.

Awful. Food very basic and overpriced for what it is. To make the whole experience much worse, when our chips didn't arrive with our meal, the manager came over just to try and blame us, saying we hadn't ordered them when we clearly had, no chance of an apology!! Basic, over priced, and rude. Avoid.

Nice clean stylish cafe bar. We had a wonderful crab sandwich which was so fresh and tasted lovely. Also a nice Spanish lager on tap.

Art deco and Great food combined. Oh and the servings team were on their A game too. The doorstep crab sandwich is immense, it is a true doorstep so go easy on the sides if you have a small appetite.

Stopped at Waves Cafe for a quick lunch. Food was pretty decent. Recommend the chicken fillet burger. There was quite a long wait but mainly due to current Covid-19 circumstances.
