Great Sunday afternoon in the Wig & Pen Truro. Tge people who work there are naturally very friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely. Definitely becoming a place to go in Truro.

We had an early supper at the Wig & Pen before going to the theatre at Halls of Cornwall. The dinner was excellent, my wine, a Rose, was really nice. My husband tells me the beer was very well kept, especially the Tribute...he needed to have 3 pints to be sure!Apparently they had only been open for 3 days. The new owners were friendly and professional, and couldn't do enough for us. It's a lovely vibey pub with a great atmosphere. We will return and would definatley recommend it.

Cosy, relaxed dinner with friends in the recently updated Wig & Pen.What a fabulous pub. We had a cosy table right by the open log fire for dinner. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.Cocktails were pretty and tasty.I enjoyed the monkfish Thai green curry which was delicious followed by the lemon meringue pudding.Friends loved the pork belly, oyster and brownie.A fun and relaxed evening - loved the new décor, colours and atmosphere. Will visit again soon thank you.

Been here a couple of times, once for Sunday lunch. Both times were excellent. Great beers and cocktails especially the Bloody Marys’

Mixed blessings, staff charming, beer excellent, but as for the food...I have been seeing customers in other establishments being served up beautiful looking beer battered fish with chips, a decent meal. So when mine arrived with what could best be described as a chubby fish finger I was very disappointed. My wife's meal was not much better. I was told they were doing a meal deal were the second meal was half price, I didn't expect half a meal though. If you decide to eat there, well best of luck.

Went to opening under new owners. Drinks are delicious and fresh with great choice!Staff and kind and helpful and I can't wait to come back now they are under new management.Food hasn't started yet but drinks were good enough to stay all day in the beer garden.

Literally walked in the door, said hello to the waitress and got completely blanked whilst she placed a reserved label on a table then walked off with a receipt.During these crazy times, all other pubs have clear and concise instructions on what to do, there is nothing in the pub to help us, looks like regular but unsafe bar service.Would have asked about taking the dog inside but no one cared. There is a better pub called the William IV round the corner

Had food from the specials board on two occasions and will definitely go back. Quiet location. Good prices.
