We visited Woody’s Pizza after a trip to Padstow on our way back to where we were staying in Bude.My husband did the research and found they had vegan options. The Saltbox was easy to find and it looked like somewhere cool. A bonus was that it was dog friendly too! Both my husband and I are vegan and we were pleased to see vegan options. We both had the vegan pepperoni pizzas and I added olives to mine.Pizza was ready promptly (we visited on a Wednesday afternoon) and it smelt amazing. We dug straight in and I was not disappointed. The pizza base was perfect. Thin, light, airy and crispy without being too crispy. The homemade vegan pepperoni was delicious and cut beautifully.I only have good things to say about this place and I highly recommend a visit. It’s so clear they’ve put thought and effort into their selection and their vegan option is no different.

The most delicious pizza ever!!! Whenever we come to Cornwall on holiday we make it a priority to stop here for food. The staff are so lovely and the food is to die for. If your lucky you can even see it being cooked in the big stone oven. 🍕🍕🍕

Had tried almost everywhere else in Salt box as it was often closed (I stay away Mondays a lot) but have been waiting to try it as a self appointed pizza connoisseur. When I visited it was pretty quiet and I was served by a couple of nice polite staff. I went for the margarita as I think that’s a real tell on a good pizza place and it was pretty decent. Very close to what I had in Naples and the tomato’s definitely make a difference. Personally, would like a bit more seasoning (pepper/Oregon etc.) but I get what they are doing. Will return for the Bee Sting next time! I just hope people complaining about wait times etc. understand what the hospitality industry is going through at the moment! I will definitely be back.

Woodys pizza inside Saltbox.Wanted to see what the hype was about. To be fair there was a huge queue, ordered within 15 minutes to order. We ordered the sausage pizza (supposed to be spicy, but where was the spice?!) Sausage was a bit undercooked looked slightly pink. Small about of onion and peppers! We ordered at 6.50pm. After ordering I asked how long would it be, they couldn't tell me how long. If I'd had known it'll take a HOUR I wouldnt have bothered! Waited until 7.50pm for our number to be called. Luckily my 5 month old baby was very patient otherwise I would have told them to cancel it!Pizza was okay, but wasn't enough toppings for what we hoped for. We are very gutted for our experience! They need to update their menu prices as they say £10 for the pizza we had, but paid £12.95 for it!Wish we went to the fish and chip takeaway instead! The young boys were very friendly though but didn't have a clue about timings.

Fabulous authentic pizza - super quick service. We had a Monto and a Beesting pizza - both were great - thin base, crispy edges and really tasty toppings. Definitely recommend.

Had the zucca pizza and it was delicious! As good as the pizzas I had when I lived in Italy! They also do Gluten Free pizzas!

Before you go there:1. Be ready to queue up2. Be ready to share a table with whoever including dogs (dog friendly place, be warned!)3. Most importantly, be ready to wait an excruciating long time for your pizza - especially when busy with take aways! 1,5 hour for us tonight. When we visited the whole place was a total shamble and it was just too late to move and go dine to Newquay!Menu: large choice of pizzas. The food:Pizzas are indeed wood-fired and come out decent. The crust of mine was sadly a tad undercooked inside. I personally would have preferred real salsiccia con finnochio and some basil! Are those the best Napoleatan pizzas in England? No but they don't claim they are.As a family who has been fed on Napoleatan pizzas since childhood, the children and myself rated their pizza 6/10.
