Sunday lunchtime four of us with 2 dogs were looking for somewhere to eat. We have never been to Bude before so we had no local knowledge of restaurants that allow dogs in. By chance we saw someone coming out of Wroes with a dog and asked if they allowed dogs in the restaurant. Affirmative was the answer. We had a superb roast beef lunch and an excellent cup of tea. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Thank you and well done Wroes, you made our day

Received shocking customer service today in store from Leah!!!. Waited approximately 10-15 minutes to be served at the till to be told by Leah she was unable to serve us as she was busy serving a customer who arrived in the queue after us. When we explained that we had been waiting she said we’ll go to the till in menswear, where there wasn’t any staff on that till either. Spoken to the store manager who wasn’t bothered.

A regular place for us. Cafe is upstairs and has great views towards the sea. Staff always friendly and cakes delicious .

Went in to have a Sunday lunch at this outlet, Great food a a reasonable cost. The staff were pleasant and very efficient.

Still a very good none chain department store offering premium products. Had a great sale on and readily price matched a Le-Cruset kettle we found in a sale online. Staff are attentive and helpful. Has a nice cafe on the top.floor along with toilets. Good range from boots to underwear to kitchenware. Nice feel to store, recommended.

16th September 2021Updating my previous review and delighted to say that even as massive High Street names have disappeared Wroes goes from strength to strength.Same fantastic service and immaculate presentation and of course the restaurant is still outstanding.I can recommend the delicious locally sourced free range eggs on granary toast.Keep up the good workMichaelWonderful restaurant on first floor with great views out to sea.The staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming the food is tasty and not at all overpriced.My particular favourite is the Double Scrambled Egg on toast with a pot of tea for a fiver!The store has a little bit of Grace Brother's about it but only in the most positive way.Good quality merchandise at reasonable prices delivered by knowledgeable staff.Keep up the good work.18th December updateTaking a little break from some Christmas shopping in my favourite department store and in the restaurant with the best view in Cornwall added to that the amazing staff and the food is delicious, pictures addedMichael

Had a lovely lunch in the café. It's a great store and the staff are very friendly. Great customer service. I always go in for a visit when on holiday in North Devon.
