Summery of my visit .Clean: 7/10Food: 6/10 The Food taste was ok like a normal takeaway restaurants, nothing very special about it that makes me visit the restaurant again .Service: 0/10 Unprofessional and Very poor service. We order food and have to wait so long, No apologies or maybe they could have offered free poppadom as a goodwill gesture (That will cost them nothing) while we were waiting. All we were told is coming now. I don't know if the three brothers who own's this restaurant know anything about hotel/hospitality management. Finally food arrive and we order extra 4 nan bread and we were told to wait again ( only for the extra nan) .Price : I find it a expensive for this kind of service and food. For just 1 Nan Bread £2.99 (maybe it will cost them .20p ), Honesty I don't mind paying for it if the service and food is really outstanding.

Nice ambiance. Nice food. Waiting time is high. Need to improve the staffing.

One of the few places in Newuqay to sell halal food - nice clean restaurant but must book in advance as it gets busy.

Wow! Wow! Amazing food! I was looking for a good Halal Indian Restaurant and at Zaman's we found more than what we were looking for. The curry's were extraordinarily delicious and Chefs specials were a treat. Great staff and wonderful service. Highly recommend Zamans Restaurant for everyone visiting Newquay and the surrounding areas. Availability of on site parking is a great bonus.

Small restaurant with friendly staff, great food, take your own alcohol, small selection of soft drinks available. Parking is limited and the car park was like a jigsaw puzzle of cars as we left, didn't affect us though as we'd walked there...Highly recommend if you're in the area.

We got asked if we’d like some poppadoms upon arrival with family. Got served along with a beautiful chutney tray which is mostly complementary. Only learned later that we got charged for the tray as well which was taken out before the main course arrived. We asked for tap water which wasn’t available so we asked for a few water bottles. The pricing for those felt like a complete rip-off.Food was decent but too pricey along with rest of the items. Definitely not coming back.

My favourite Indian restaurant in Newquay, whether dine in, takeaway or delivery there has never been a bad meal. Excellent service always not to mention the kind gestures for the Newquay community especially during Covid and lockdown. I can’t recommend enough.

A fantastic experience, amazing customer service. Genuine love & care for the customers! A gem of a place, I will recommend to all locals and visitors. Menu is fully Halal. I enjoyed the Biriani, plus enough to take back to the holiday lodge! Well done and keep it up!

Friday night and it was busy, luckily we had booked in advance. It is "bring your own" alcohol but they do serve soft drinks. The food was very good, portion sizes decent and the chicken tasty. The service a little slow and we did wait quite a while for our starter, but we didn't mind as we prefer time between courses. Pickle tray was brought with the poppadoms without asking and charged but again, we didn't mind but wanted to point it out in our review so people reading are aware. We would visit again 👍

We had a little trouble trying to book a table for an evening meal anywhere when we arrived in Newquay. We tried Zaman's online booking service and the restaurant called us promptly to book us in. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome and were taken to our table in a pleasant environment and atmosphere. The customer service was exemplary, with staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued. Our waiter recognised our accents and utilised his brilliant and personable customer service skills to strike up appropriate conversation. In addition to the customer service, we enjoyed a delicious meal, which arrived half an hour after we ordered. In the meantime, we were offered poppadoms and a chutney tray. We both opted for the jalfrezi, one chicken and one prawn. We also had onion bhajis, a cheese naan, a peshwari naan, pilau rice and chips.Excellent experience overall; would definitely recommend.
