After a initial hiccup missing our order, Nico the supervisor restored the service and ensured we had a great evening. Thanks Nico

Denied my family entry.. happy smiles until my Syrian son joined me.. happy faces turned to disgust.. suddenly no service. Be silent or have someone fit the narrative speak for you or you’ll be denied. I won’t be trying this racist establishment again.. completely disgusting. Only positive and reason for the second star was the open playground nearby for kids which my son enjoyed.

Very tasty food, but a little more expensive that I expected and is costly for a whole family. Very efficient and friendly staff

Lovely food with healthy options. Beautiful atmosphere and attentive staff.

Nice atmosphere and staff friendly just not very attentive considering it wasn’t very busy when we went. Took a while to get menus and drinks. Then 1 hour 45 mins before our food arrived!!! We raised it with staff and didn’t get any apology or explanation. After the arrival round of drinks (finished in our long wait) they didn’t come to take any further drinks orders or take away the empties. Staff were spending more time relaying tables for the following day. Food was lukewarm and very simple considering how long it took to get to us. Portions small and left us hungry considering cost of £18 each. Very underwhelming. We ordered peanut butter cheesecake for desert and had a smear of peanut butter on a plate with some cream squirted on top. No base. Not even fancy, just disappointing. Bill was ridiculously expensive and they automatically added a large tip for themselves. Card machine wasn’t working and overall a very messy experience. Would avoid.

Nice surroundings, I found the waitress a little distracted yes she was busy but you would expect that a lunch time. I order from children's menu fish goujons and chips (not potato). I clarified this with her twice as I could see she was not really listening and she didn’t cos she brought it with potato. The rest of the order was fine. I was charged for two courses from the children's menu when they both had one course and that was wrong. I pointed this out at the till was ignored and charged £8.50 for each child. The menu does not offer much for the lighter lunch. Just soup. Dinner and lunch same menus. also they add a service charge without giving you the option of choosing if yiu want to pay that.

Amazing experience! We stayed on the Lower Mill Estate this weekend and Balihoo was an amazing part of that. First night 10 of us went for dinner, all various ages and various meals and all really enjoyed the food. Nice atmosphere, great food and fair prices topped off by amazing service by all the staff there. This was highlighted more so by the second night where I’d water damaged my phone and went back to Balihoo to see if they could spare me some rice (Google if you don’t know the urban legend!). Despite being visibly busy, a kind member of staff happily went and grabbed me a tub full of rice to take back, I offered some money but he wouldn’t take it and instead wished me luck with the phone. As a result of leaving the phone in rice overnight, I’ve managed to save my iPhone and wouldn’t have done so without the help of Balihoo! Left a customer £800 better off by going above and beyond without batting an eyelid. 10/10 from me 👍🏻 Thanks again to all staff.

Bit of a captive market situation. Staff really good but it's luck of the draw how busy it gets and therefore wait times. Sometimes it's really quick, other times painfully slow.

The restaurant itself is nice, toilets are lovely and full wheelchair access throughout. Staff are friendly and although no allergen menu they did note allergies and were reassuring. We all found however, that while we all enjoyed our starters very much, noone really enjoyed their mains and we did not stay for dessert. Staff were very attentive throughout with offering drinks and clearing things away. When our bill came there were 3 items on there we didn't have - which is unusual. When questioned though it was immediately removed without an issue. All in all I would say if you're staying to give it a go, the most enjoyed meal seemed to be the steak.
