Had a nice meal last night! Food and service excelent! Friendly feeling all in,great range of beers and ales! Lovely courtyard area!

By far and without a doubt this is the best pub in Moreton! Amazing staff who are always so welcoming. The food is exceptional here as well. We will continue to be regular customers to the Black Bear. Can’t rate them highly enough!

Prior to visiting this pub I hoped we would enjoy a decent meal. Our expectations were surpassed as the food was delicious and well presented. There was an interesting choice of main course, making the decision of what to order difficult. The staff were very attentive. It is is definitely worth a visit. I would return when next visiting this area.

Amazing customer service, lovely food & good sized portions, so you won't leave feeling hungry. Accommodating to vegans/veggies - even awkward ones who can't handle spicy food! 😂 it's a great pub with a great atmosphere.

Fantastic food and friendly staff. We went there today and had the slow cooked blade of beef roast. Followed by a chocolate bread pudding. The staff were lovely, a very friendly chap showed us to our table and deal with our orders etc. He was very chatty and friendly and the huge yorkshire, tasty gravy and melt in your mouth beef was great. Good honest food in a cozy, warm and friendly environment, will be going back for Sunday lunch again.

We enjoyed a very tasty lunch here after a hike to the local arboretum. The soup in particular was of a perfect velvety consistency and full of flavour, main course portions are very generous and very reasonably priced considering the quality of ingredients. The hospitality was outstanding - warm, welcoming and attentive.

The only reason for the 2 star rating is due to the fact that it is a very pretty place. That's it, as it has nothing else to offer. I waited so long for my coffee that my friends has almost finished drinking up.The biggest issue was the staff, so Kurt and very grumpy. This is not the way to talk to customers people, sort it out. Don't grunt at people with you one word answers. Try to smile and chat, this way YOU may begin to actually enjoy your day. Try to find a positive, rather than treating every customer as an issue.

Really relaxed pub with an attentive host ,ale kept very well, food was very well presented ,the steak and ale pie was fab highly recommend, don't miss out on this pub Jp
