Cafe 53 in Cotswold

This is a really lovely cafe with great food and staff. It has a great courtyard for al fresco dining if the weather is right. Particular thanks to Harry for being a delightful waiter. Its popular for understandable reasons. The breakfast choices are particularly nice. It's attached to a lovely interiors shop called Domestic Science which has some stylish stuff. Highly recommended.

Excellent food - had the pork brioche and highly recommend it. The young staff were all very friendly and quick. Our dog was welcome too. The place was busy and obviously popular. We look forward to returning - the cake looked great.

Had a genuinely lovely breakfast at Cafe 53! Really great food, friendly young staff and a nice bonus to have a great shop attached.Will definitely be back.

had a lovely pot of tea and cappuccino here both nice and hot. we had the smoked mackerel and the chestnut mushroom and cashew ramen. both utterly delightful and ramen was piping hot. also had a strawberry milk shake and a latte. we ate in the garden by the dolphin fountain, the place was busy but the service was excellent.....staff were amazing.

Shabby chic edging towards shabby, a great place to stop for a coffee and a bite to eat. The food is good quality and wholesome a welcome break on a cold winter's day. Very dog friendly with an interesting general store type shop attached to it.

Lovely modern, light space that was very cozy on the freezing November day we visited. Perfectly sized soup with sandwich for a light lunch - not a huge menu but enough to please most tastes.

Tasty food, good bread, great the open until 4pm.

Just popped in for coffee and cake and had a delicious hazelnut latte and a great carrot cake. My friends really enjoyed the brownie too. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Lovely place, local, food and drink are good but very pricey. £10 for a sandwich? I don't think so!!! They need to look after the locals, we're not all well off.

We used to come here fairly regularly on weekend bike rides but after a hiatus we were shocked to see a notice on the back gate today with a large crossed through "no cycling" sign and a note to say bicycles are not welcome, neither in the garden or in the carparking spaces. I do understand that it is a small courtyard garden but hardly think that in December this would be teeming with people sat outside. As we were reeling from the discriminatory notice a couple of other cyclists turned up and were also suitably appalled at the notice. I was hoping to also purchase a birthday gift and card as well as use the café but went elsewhere. If you want to go somewhere welcoming and cyclist friendly then the Wild Carrot just on the outskirts of Tetbury is remarkable and appreciate and provide for cyclists wonderfully.
