Nice coffee (albeit not that hot), great cakes and sandwiches. Ice cream milkshakes could do with more ice cream. Great views across the lake and easy, free parking.

Beautiful location inside and out. I can't say how impressed we were. The food was beautiful, hot and fresh, prepared with care and attention to detail and arrived incredibly quickly. The service was second to none that I have ever experienced, all dishes were served simultaneously by more than one waiter (I counted 6) so that we were able to start eating all together at the same time as a family, rather than getting our food in dribs and drabs like most restaurants. Nothing was too much to ask for, every request was met with a willing smile. I rank this as the best cafe I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. Exceptional 👌🏻 and we will be returning!

Wow, what a stunning full English breakfast! The tea was a bit manky though, I suggest they invest in some Yorkshire Tea bags. But that's just to my taste. The breakfast items were locally sourced and of high quality, definitely worth the few extra quid it cost.Go and try it, it's a lovely place and in beautiful surroundings.

Great venue, great service and great food. It was extremely busy today, we had to wait for about 10 to 15 mins for a table, but the staff were doing there absolute best to monitor the tables, clean them quickly to let more people enjoy their visit. It reflects good training and management. Well done.

I was going to leave a 1 star review.. however I did not have a problem with the food. The waitress who served us at the time (on a Tuesday morning) made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable as we walked in, first giving us a strange look, maybe because we are young! Second, when ordering my food I asked for an extra egg and to take away a hash brown which also seemed to be an issue? I ended up receiving an extra egg and an extra hash brown so she didn’t listen to me. Once we ordered our food she made us pay straight away before we even had it! When we looked around and see other customers they had paid their bill at the end of the meal, which is what usually happens in a cafe! Like we was going to eat our food and not pay. Would never go back, terrible service. Have never felt so discriminated against.

Don’t bother, ordered drinks and cakes. Drinks arrived no sugar asked for sugar twice, young lass serving couldn’t be bothered threw packs of white sugar down and walked off when we enquired if there was any brown, she didn’t come back. Drinks nearly finished still waiting for cakes which eventually arrived from a pleasant enough young lad who seemed to be serving everyone. Service awful.

Busy as always but the service was great as always. The sausage and bacon roll I had was a meal in its self 2 sausages and 2 rashers of back bacon, will be back, probably several times during the year.

Food is on point, delicious and well priced. Service is atrocious hence only 2 stars... That's how much it detracts away from the great food. This place needs just one experienced hand in service to steward the army of young staff that meander around not taking orders, or checking back on tables.Such a shame, but great place to come if you are not afraid to get up and find service...
