A bit disappointing, I don't know why there is always a queue of people trying to get seated here. Upstairs seating was not very warm, light fittings had dead flies in. Lunch was mediocre, I would guess microwaved. Service was good.

My wife and I came here for brunch. Good food and very reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and patient with us as we browsed the menu. Very cozy and charming indoor seating full of character, and awesome location just beside the River if you want to eat outdoors. Coffee was very very good, scones were too. Sausage bap was delicious. Hotdog was a little letdown, the Owner should look to improve the hotdog sausage and fry them instead of boil (strange that the sausage in the bap was really good). Chilli con-carne on the hotdog was good, though. This place also has a little “museum” gift shop of model villages, some very rare, all beautiful. Worth to spend 5-10mins browsing their very large collection, and maybe pick up one or two. This place is a gem and definitely worth a stop if you’re visiting Burton-on-the-water.

Enormous scone with clotted cream and jam. Delicious! Lovely tea too and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great!

Me and my dog came here for breakfast, the food was absolutely delicious (had a roll with sausage and hash brown with caramel late… and a sausage for the dog, of course!) and all the other food looked gorgeous too!The atmosphere was so relaxed and calm, everyone was really friendly and lovely. Having breakfast by the river was just the perfect ending to our break in Cotswold. They’re super dog friendly, inside and outside the cafe. Can’t wait to come back.

Super Tea Shop. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed a great chicken burger 🍔 and good sized baked potato which was too big for my wife, but good and tasty. Nice friendly staff made our visit complete. Thanks 😎 👍

Had traditional fish&chips there - horrible.Fish was either undercooked or simply frozen for too long before they cooked it. Really 0 taste, almost liquid fish on a plate in a massive multiple layered buttery crust, which was super oily and fat.Drinks were ok though.Never again.

Nice enough place but my BLT roll wasn't nice, crispy bacon and old roll which fell apart, too many hard cheesy chips. My friends had cod and chips which looked nicer, wish I chose the scampi meal. I would revisit.

Quaint little tea room that serves tasty food and with the added bonus of interesting antiqueties/art pieces you can purchase. Worth a visit👍

Amazing location but below par food and drink. Tea was okay but hot chocolate was out of a machine and tasted very cheap. Scones were quite dry. No music or any background noise meaning everyone in the room felt the need to whisper, very awkward atmosphere.
