John Grenville Restaurant, Charingworth Manor in Cotswold

Went to Charingworth Manor to see if we liked it and it would suit our needs. Have to say we were very impressed with both the staff and the accommodation. We look forward to a short break in the near future.

Delightful medieval manor, old school hotel. Friendly, happy staff, delicious food, relaxing seating areas, delightful gardens with breathtaking views. Lovely refreshing pool. Super clean & comfortable beds.

We had afternoon tea, food and drink was excellent. The Manor is a lovely building and set in a great location, but could do with better direction signs.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful and really made the stay. We ate in the restaurant both night and the food was exceptionally good and well presented. A good selection of Cotswold beer to go with the food although I felt the drinks were rather expensive.

Photographed a wedding there recently and was very impressed. The staff are friendly and efficient. The Hotel and surroundings are beautiful. Highly recommend.

Superb weekend stay! The staff are the friendliest you could find anywhere. Room was excellent, cleaning was done to a high standard, facilities are top notch. The food was excellent, the hot tub was on another level! Beautiful historic place to stay and well worth the money. The health and safety was very detailed around the hotel and you can see how much care and attention is put into the hotel through all the little details. These people really care about their customers. Having travelled and stayed a lot around the cotswolds this has to be one of the best establishments we have stayed in.

Great food and restaurant service. Housekeeping system not as good. Had to ask for room to be serviced. Bath sheets would be better than Bath 'towels' which are too small.Otherwise an enjoyable 3 night break.

Such a beautiful place, especially if you like style, class and serenity. My partner booked be overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. Staff were attentive and professional, food was very good, room was lovely and the pool was an added bonus. Thank you so much for a great stay.

We have just spent 2 nights at Charingworth Manor. We were a party of 10 which included a 3 year old. The staff were superb and did everything to make our celebration visit completely perfect. Dan and his young team in the dining room were incredibly professional and the service was amazing. The food was of a very high standard. The rooms were extremely comfortable. Everyone at Charingworth works so hard and we look forward to returning in the near future.

This review has been long overdue..Our Daughter and her Husband had their reception at Charingworth back in September. The location, staff, food, atmosphere were brilliant. There were some issues (nothing to do with Charingworth) that the staff ably sorted out with no fuss. We stayed at the hotel ahead and after the wedding reception and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just brilliant.So good we have just returned from a long weekend with our two dogs as well. Again the staff, food, ambience were fabulous and our two dogs welcomed.So if you can do visit.A special thank you to all there sorry if we have not mentioned you but thanks to..
