Spent 2 nights here and had such a great time. All the staff were lovely. Receptionist was just amazing and so helpful. Room was clean and really nicely done out. Fantastic bed. Room has coffee machine etc and everything you need. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Very expensive for what you get. Room is nice and bathroom looks nice, but there were a couple of issues that caused them to loose a couple of stars.1 the shower kept dripping2 the sink tap was very stiff3 there was no card next to the phone and no way for me to call reception (I tried a couple of buttons but couldn't be bothered after that)4 this was the killer ... There was a pigeon that was on my window sill most of the night making noise. Not really much you can do about it nor the hotel...but when you're spending over £150 you want to have a better experience. The breakfast was good though and so is the bar if you're going to have drinks. It has a nice fire to sit beside.Overall it's a 2-3 star experience, but when I couldn't sleep and couldn't contact reception...The evening meal was lovely so this took it back to a 3 star exp.

We had dinner here at the weekend and was really impressed. It had a great atmosphere, the staff were very welcoming and service was quick. The mussel dish was huge and my sirloin steak was cooked perfectly. The only slight negative was the drinks were quite pricey. We would happily dine here again.

The room is lovely… but if you stay on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday you have to eat in the brassiere as the grill is closed. If I wanted to eat in a brassiere with what is a limited menu then I would have stayed somewhere cheaper and gone to a brassiere to eat. I booked the hotel to eat in the restaurant, at no time did they say the grill was shut on a Tuesday. Disappointing. The brassiere is smoke filled as the kitchen is in the middle limited menu and the wine is served to you in only what I can call an “ice cream sundae dish” and let’s not even talk about the dark stairs that take you to the toilet.JUST BE CAREFUL.

Spent a a really lovely night away celebrating my wife's birthday. The king's head was our base for our birthday visit to tye Cotswolds and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. On arrival the staff were warm and welcoming and check in was smooth and efficient. Our room was amazing (pic below). Really comfortable and spacious. The only small and very small complaint was that the pillows were a little soft. But really that is personal preference. It was also a lovely touch of a hand written note and small gift for my wife, welcoming her personally to stay.We had a deal where we had a £50 food and drink credit and breakfast was also included. We down to the bar for a quick cocktail and then off to dinner at the MBB brassiere, which is attached to the hotel. Our waitress, Keira, was just lovely. Attentive (not overly) and friendly. Made us both feel very welcome. The food was good and the hotel had informed the restaurant of my wife's nuptials and they brought her a special dessert, classy touch and much appreciatedBreakfast the next morning was good and check out was easy. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and heartily recommend you do so too, if you gotten this far.

I booked four rooms at the Kings Head to celebrate ( belatedly...) a big birthday as well as this year's birthday. Louise in the boookings team was so helpful, finding us 4 superior rooms together at one part of the hotel where there was no other footfall so that not only could we be together but I slept relly well..... I am often woken by inconsiderate guests walking to their roooms..... All our rooms were lovely and there were hand made biscuits and flowers in my room to acknowledge my birthday. The breakfasts were delightful and Joanna, Guest Relations mananger made sure we got a really good service. Joanna also sorted out some problems with getting into our allocated parking spaces and nothing was too much of a problem. The hotel is ideally situated in the town centre and we really enjoyed a day browsing all the lovely shops. The food in both the Grill and Brasserie restautrants was fanastic and I would be hard pressed to choose a favourite but the Brasserie probably just comes out on top. Great menu, served by lovely staff on hot plates..... and good value. The associated deli and wine shop was an added bonus and although we had missed out on booking the wine tastig experience ( because it was fully booked) the lovely manager there arranged for us to have the same experience in the hotel Brrasserie so a very happy evening was spent by all tasting some lovely new wines we might not perhaps have previously considered. So all in all, I highly recommend this great hotel with it's lovely considerate staff. only things to be aware of is that the hotel has only very limited parking of it's own. The ability to control the room temperature would be helpful but otherwise a lovely place to stay and I am looking forward to returning for another stay.

A beautifully updated coaching Inn, fully renovated to modern standards. The food is excellent in both restaurants and all the staff are friendly, efficient and and attentive. Joanna, the manager, is exceptional and should definitely be given a pay rise! Cirencester is a beautiful town and well worth a visit

The team at this hotel are fantastic! The food was exquisite, the service was friendly & welcoming and our room was simply perfect. The icing on the cake was a beautiful massage and facial at their on-site spa. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to Louise, Joanna and all the team.

Just returned from a great one night stay at the kings Head in Cirencester. Great bar area. Superb room with really comfy bed. Central location is great for enjoying the town centre.Excellent breakfast but service could be a little faster. Would go back if visiting the area again.

We went in for a walk-in lunch and it was delicious. We were served quickly with happy smiley staff. The cured meat platter was substantial, as were the Mussels. The toilets smelled like a Spa, and everything was so clean and tidy. Great to see an open kitchen. The ambiance is trendy, up to date and welcoming.
