Gluten Free (gf) fish & chips (only), available on Tuesdays π. Really nice, fresh fish and crispy chips. We liked that the portions weren't oversized. Staff very friendly. Lots of other interesting items on the takeaway menu and different meals to eat in. Thank you, we know where to go the next time we're in the area π

Visited for a late Saturday lunch. My wife ordered the Prawn-agedon and myself the battered haddock. Both arrived promptly and the portions are large. My fiah was perfectly cooked, the fish hot and moist, the batter was thin and really crisp and the chips well coloured and crisp. The wife's platter of prawns (pictured) was incredible. A brilliant variety of prawns and sources.Looking forward to revisiting.

Traveled from the US to the UK on business and had a few days for site seeing. Stopped here our last night in the UK. Nice place with great food. The fish and chips were delicious and the beef pie was awesome. The gentleman server/bartender upstairs was nice and polite and took our order quickly. We ate fish and chips and the beef pie many times while there and Malt & Anchor was the best.

I've eaten here multiple times and it never fails to deliver. Fish and chips are the best, I've also tried the gluten free on a Tues night and you can't fault it. Order what you like you won't be disappointed.

A lot of places up and down the country will tell you that their fish and chips are the best. And everyone may actually have some award to their name. But this place boasts of multiple ones. And to be honest, it lives up to the name. First thing that gets you is the size of the menu and the variety they have. Second, the sourcing of the fish and where they caught and even who caught it. And then lastly, the friendly manager. We had one small cod with chips and a dish called prawnageddon. The fish and chips were amazing, perfectly fried and yet tender within. The mushy peas are ok, standard. But for me, the winner was actually the prawn dish. Amazing quality and collection of different shrimp varieties served with multiple sauces. We loved every bit of it and wiped our plates clean! Must visit if you are in the area. Note that they have 2 floors with same food. But unfortunately only serve tap beer on the first floor. We had to live with bottled beer on the ground floor but a very minor point.

Absolutely divine... I have been looking for a good chippie in the Cotswolds for over a year now and finally found this amazing place. The quality was excellent, portions great and the taste was just delightful. Plus, you can eat in if you want in their seaside-themed (and impeccably decorated) restaurant. I even heard there's a wine bar upstairs... Couldn't recommend more.

Really clean, fresh fresh food! The fish was really delicious (bit on the small side for the price). Overall kids meals was great too. The onion rings is a MUST to try!!

Amazing. I had Take away. Very good quality fish, CRISPY BATTER!! Small fish and chips Β£9.50. Worth every penny and more. Parking not ideal.

I had a great take away from here - I ordered Bengali spiced prawns with a side of madras curry sauce. It was actually delicious! Also the chips - so crispy and tasty, probably one of the best I tried when I was in the cotswolds area

Ate here twice with my wife over the last week. The cod and chips with mushy peas was good but my red shrimp (first photo) was very tasty. On the second visit we both had Prawn-a-Geddon (second photo), which was served with a variety of dips - this meal was also excellent. The night club upstairs is currently being used as the first floor restaurant, with a good atmosphere and it starts to get busy from around 7.30. Staff are efficient and friendly and were wearing appropriate Covid PPE. Well worth a visit.
