Manor House Hotel in Cotswold

Very nice and accommodating front desk staff. Breakfasts were good and healthy options available. Centrally located and easy access to the train.

My wife and I booked the Manor House as a getaway for our 40th wedding anniversary. The historical building is set in beautiful gardens. The staff are very polite and attentive. We ate there a few times and the food was really good. We had afternoon tea, which was really nice. We would recommend this hotel.

Booked apple cottage for the hot tub but it didn’t work at all during the stay and the hotel were unable to fix it. The shower wouldn’t turn off and the rooms were generally in disrepair (toilet seat came off when sat on in another of our party’s room.)Most disappointing was that the hotel manager promised a replacement stay to make up for the disappointment but has not responded to any emails since so we feel very much tricked having settled the final bill for the room at over £500 when the facilities were not as advertised.

A lovely hotel in a lovely location. The Apple cottage, including hot tub, is extra special. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The food was a little under par for the price, although in fairness this was partly down to staff shortages. Highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel full of charm in a lovely setting. The food was excellent, everything immaculately clean. But the best part was the staff. All the staff were extremely efficient and charming and went over and above to provide excellent service.

Lovely venue for the wedding we were at, lovely breakfast the next day too. Beautiful grounds. However room a bit too hot and really suffered with condensation after we ran a shower before bed: woke up in the morning with water running down all the windows. Could do with better ventilation in bathrooms.

I attended a wedding on 27/3/22. The Manor House was really good and had a slick operation in place. All the staff were very attentive, hard working and friendly making the whole experience very good and helped so much to this joyous occasion. Would recommend.

Beautiful interior.Some of the waiter staff could do with training in etiquette and smile a bit more.Cuisine was very good. Would visit again and maybe stay over.

Service: all the staff were amazing, helpful, professional and friendly.Family Lunch for 15 on the Saturday, we were really well looked after.Stayed for 3 days: The hotel makes a great base for exploring - we made the short walk to Batsford Arboretum which was absolutely brilliant.

Beautiful location and old building with stacks of history. Room perfect. Beautiful gardens. I can see why it would be popular for weddings. Dog friendly. Staff are very helpful and happy to chat. Stuart behind the bar was very helpful. However, only one criticism was the choice of food on the restaurant menu. Apart from that a perfect stay 😁
