The food was exceptionally delicious and the service staff were very polite and friendly. No lengthy wait for your meal either. Very satisfying experience, will eat there again

Not the best experience to be honest...We went here on August bank holiday Saturday having booked a table for 8pm.The table wasn't ready and then we were asked to sit at other people's tables to wait whilst they were still eating.. (bizarre)I think they had overbooked all the tables as i could see lots of groups of people waiting...The food was OK nothing sparkling.. not the best indian i have had and i do eat a lot of Indian food if I'm honest. We won't be going back anytime soon. We may return one day if it sorts its act out.

This place offers authentic Indian and Bengali cuisine in the middle of English countryside town -- Stow-on-the-wold. Popular among the locals and the tourists, the restaurant is extremely busy even during the week nights. The servers are extremely attentive and give you enough time to enjoy the meal and the pleasure of your company. We ordered Mackarel fish curry, tomato bhorta, daal, chicken makhni, saag panir, plain rice, and garlic cheese naan. Except for the tomato bhorta, every single item we ordered was exceptionally good. For desserts, we shared a pistachio kulfi which is very similar to a gelato. We take our Bengali/Indian food very seriously and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality and presentation of the the food along with the hospitality of the servers. I'd highly recommend this place if you're around Cotswold and looking to eat at a great Indian/Bengali restaurant.

Pleasant Indian restaurant in the charming town of Stow-in-the-Wold . Comprehensive menu and good value for money and open when many restaurants are closed and not prohibitively expensive. Attentive staff worth a visit. Revisited the restaurant yesterday after two years and Yunus the charming young waiter recognised us and he and the team made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful Indian restaurant in a small historical town ( Stow-on-the-Wold ) with excellent service and food🍽🥂

The restaurant was packed on a Wednesday, so we took this as a good sign. We both ordered the Meat Thali. Service was friendly and quick. I didn't expect too much, but I was blown away with the quality of the food. Each of the small dishes was delicious, particularly the lamb dish. The tandoori chicken was juicy and tender. The nan was crisp and fluffy. It was all a real treat. It was a very large meal - we left tons. The Thali is great value.
