Seven Tuns in Cotswold

Had a delicious and much needed lunch after a beautiful walk from the pub to Yanworth and back via the Roman Villa. Dog friendly, human friendly too with efficient and thoughtful service. The menu is varied and interesting and we enjoyed sitting outside, inside also looked attractive.

Wonderful pub. Lovely place to visit. Especially after a walk around the local area. Food was very tasty and the staff were great. Glad we sat by the fire as it would've been about cold otherwise. Would visit again. My 8 year said his fish and chips were the best ever.

Stopped for something small for lunch.Was busy, but only a short wait for a table and Service was lovely and also timely.Wine was and food was very enjoyable, we plan to return and bring family.

Beautiful little pub in an idyllic rural small village setting. The food is exceptional. We had seasonal onion soup with homemade bread and pea and mint mac n' cheese with watercress and parmesan. Child friendly. Lovely staff.

Outstanding service and wonderful menu.Simon happily found us a table at 2pm on Friday short notice which was a really positive start to a great lunch.The wine list was extensive and provided choice to suit all budgets.The food is some of the best you will fine in a pub without being expected to pay through the nose for a gastro pub experience.The 7 Tuns is still able to accommodate locals and tourists alike, spoiling all who patronise the establishment with a very special and rewarding meal.We are looking forward to the pub opening on Mondays in the near future!!

Seems I gave 3 stars in a review. This was a mistake, must have been distracted. 5 stars would be nearer the mark. Had a Sunday lunch there recently which was really excellent & the owner & staff could not have been more helpful. Great Cotswold pub with good walks nearby. Will be back.Oh & not silly money for the roast like some pubs are getting!

The Seven Tuns is a hidden gem in the Cotswolds. A complete professional staff with pedigree. The food is delicious and a chef who has an imagination using local produce with an extensive wine list. An old fashion pub with progressive ideas.

Lovely secluded old pub deep in the Cotswolds in the village of Chedworth. Three draft ales on when I visited including Otter ale. Didn't eat but the menu looked appetising and reasonable. It's on their web site.Friendly staff and three ghosts allegedly. An interesting building with plenty of heritage, and history given it is opposite the village church. Nice garden and seating area partially occupied by a marquee given the times we live in.An essential stopping off point on the circular walk 4 miles? which takes in the Chedworth Roman mosaics, the Midland and South West junction railway remains including tunnel portal and a former airfield. ( The section from Chedworth to the airfield is muddy all year so pub first!).

Great pub, really nice food, best Fish & Chips I've had in a while!I was visiting the Cotswolds, I wasn't sure where to eat and because of the distance between villages I was wondering if I'd find a restaurant, after touring around for the day, I came across The Seven Turns, I was not disappointed.

Absolutely LOVED it, we stumbled on Seven Runs by chance on holiday. The Curried Monkfish was incredible, beautiful veg salad, lovely staff. 10/10. We recommended it to others who went later in the week and also loved it.Hope to visit again soon.
