I booked this room and received an email conformation. When we arrived and went into the room we saw that it was a very very small room With little space for bags or to move around. The Door mouse room. I mentioned this to the Manager. She said the room size was on the booking conformation form at 81 Square feet. (we checked later, it was). The Manager said said they had no other rooms available. We went for a stroll, but decided the room was really too small for us. We politely requested that we cancel the booking and asked for a refund. The manager agreed and gave us a full refund for the room, which was a nice surprise, as she was not obliged to do so. So, many thanks to the Manager for being so understanding. So I would advise anyone booking a stay at The Bell, check the booking conformation form, for the room size. Otherwise The bell was a nice busy Cotswolds pub in a nice location just off the centre of the town.

The staff here are excellent and so friendly, we spent a lovely afternoon in the pub with babies and dogs and felt so looked after! The next day we got a puncture and they were kind enough to let us wait inside for the recovery van even before they had opened. Thanks so much and we will be returning!

The Bell is basically a hotel with pub n serving very delicious food. It was very easy to book a table n enjoy a pint before meal which all I need after a long walk around this beautiful area. Very friendly and attentive staff. Cool n helpful.

Went on the staycation offer. Top rate from start to finish. From booking on the phone with Mandy and spending a lovely 2 nights in a great spacious room with lots of little nice touches. All the staff were very welcoming and great but I can only remember the names of Mandy, Megan, Craig and Syliva.Perfect spot to see the town. Will be back.

Looking at a place to stay in the Cotswolds, preferably Stow-in-the-wold! & Saw this place! Looks & sounds Amazing! Although I wouldn't have stopped upon it if the prices were rocket high, I appreciate their rates for what you clearly get so hope they don't up their prices from getting good ratings 'cause I want to stay & experience this stunning place! Thank you! 😃

Although this venue isn't perfect, it delivers time and again for a family meal, and it's worth driving the half an hour from Glos/Cheltenham or Oxford/Banbury to get to if it's a good quality pub lunch you're after, with a good selection of Gin.The hotel has a couple of room which I've never stayed in, though most visits include somebody trying to check in at the bar, so obviously quite well frequented. But really, this is a pub, perhaps making it 'The Bell Inn' by nature?Food is good quality pub food. Not blow your socks off amazing but well into the gastro pub category. And the pricing is reasonable too.Good friendly, though often busy and sometimes forgetful staff make for a welcoming and pleasant experience, matched by the cosy interior decoration, and the rumoured return of the outdoor pods, so loved by everyone but the council. It's a very solid 4 stars indeed.

Lovely warm atmosphere even on a cold February evening. Very friendly staff, attentive without being imposing. Food was fantastic value - the pie and the venison steak were both delightful, hearty and just what was needed after a day walking round the Cotswolds hills.

Myself and family have all stayed at this charming establishment and highly recommend it, we received such a warm welcome by the staff who are always happy to assist in any way they can. They were extremely busy when we stayed however this did not effect the first class service we received whilst we dined and stayed, Thankyou we will be back.

A very well presented pub bed and breakfast. Although i didnt eat there i believe there to be a good variable menu. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was clean and well laid out. There is a mini bar, although be aware the orices are the usual rather high end. Plenty of soaps, creams and towels and a good size shower. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed dinner here on a Saturday evening. Bustling atmosphere but not over crowded. Enjoyed the food and would go back but wouldn’t order the croquettes (starters) again as they were more like potato cakes rather than traditional croquettes.
