Slow roasted pork belly and local ale. Loved the cozy interiors, candle lights and the fire place. Courteous staff and decent prices.

I thought, having looked at the previous reviews and their website that it might be s bit pretentious but I was mistaken. We felt welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. The menu, too, looked a bit nouveau cuisine and therefore a bit la dee da. It wasn't. We thoroughly enjoyed ourmeal. I had the blade of beef but I think I should have had the lamb's liver that our friend had. It looked really nicely done.No complaints from us though. We were surprised to hear that they were having problems recruiting a permanent head chef at £38,500. I wish I could cook. 😁

Stayed for a night while walking the Cotswolds and what a gem of a place. Nice staff, good ale and really fantastic food. Compliments to the chef as it really was superb. The rooms were also excellent so all in all I can't fault the place. A lovely countryside pub.

Located in a beautiful part of the country, the hotel and its surrounding facilities are well kept. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The food was very nice and well presented.Great value for money.

Never been before; it has a lot of charm and character with a log fire. We ate in the restaurant part of the Inn, food was good and value for money. Catered for vegetarians, vegans, lactose intolerance and gluten free and that was just our table.

We usually combine Sunday lunch here with a look at the snowdrops when they're in season. We should go more often, as they do a lovely traditional roast. It's most welcome to eat lunch with the dogs, sitting by a cosy log fire.

·

Perfect place for lunch after a visit to Colesbourne Park to see their beautiful display of snowdrops. Atmospheric pub, small log burner and welcoming, friendly staff, plus an excellent meal made for an enjoyable day out.

Lovely food with a variety of choice. The belly pork from specials board was perfect. Enjoyed the ale on tap. Polite staff and great service. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again

Fab, had coffee by the fire at lunch time and then went back for an evening meal. It was delicious, the staff were friendly and happy. The best steak I've had in ages. Couldn't have asked for more. Well done!

Had a fantastic family meal here to celebrate my son’s 18th. We had the best Sunday Roast, I have ever tasted, with beef that melted in your mouth and huge Yorkshire puddings, the vegetables were also cooked to perfection and the gravy was sublime. We also ordered from the Specials board and every dish was cooked to perfection and very, very tasty, so too were the desserts. The ambience was excellent and very cosy, as we had the table next to the open log fire. The staff were friendly and attentive and went above and beyond to make it a very special and memorable occasion. All in all, we had a fantastic time and left with big smiles on our faces. This is now a firm favourite and we will be back very soon.
