We planned in advance to call in here for morning coffee and a slice of cake.Nicely spaced, pleasant indoor cafe with under cover dining too and the staff were very friendly. The Cappuccino was delicious and the Lemon Drizzle cake was Woof, albeit rather pricey but hey 😉A very nice shop too, with plenty of quality produce, gifts, household wares and bits and bobsWell worth a visit but be aware that they are closed on Mondays (except Bank Holidays).

Our second visit to Cotswold Barn, the owners are fantastic and the staff are very friendly and offer a quick and prompt service, food and drink is always of a very high standard with good quality produced being used and sourced locally. We would highly recommend if you have not tried the Cotswold Barn yet to give it a go you will not be disappointed. We arrange in advance with the owners for us to have our club's car meets here and they always make the green area at the entrance of the Barn available to us and we end up with our own area to meet and greet our club members which is fantastic, can't wait until our next visit.

I arrived here today after a 9 mile run and just missed breakfast. I was met with a friendly reception and ordered two cups of coffee. We waited for lunch and I ordered sausage egg and chips and a brie and bacon sandwich. Food was excellent. Great location. And nice to see an establishment putting thought into the brekkie lunch divide. Recommend visiting.

Brilliant! Great views from both indoor and outdoors, friendly and accommodating staff, quick service and perfect coffee and cakes!

My first trip out after two years of lockdown. This had to be our first destination because the welcome is always warm and the menu choices are always hot for quality. We've been here many times. Interesting to see how it has morphed from the Cotswold Food Store, with all the changes for the better. Keep up the good work!

A rarely high level of helpful and enthusiastic service; in fact, they almost seemed to be competing with each other to provide it. The food was prepared well, but rather meat and potatoes, to pick an appropriate pun. There's nothing wrong with it; just don't expect to see fashion statements on the menu or plate. Think soup, pies, chips, full English breakfast, and lasagne, hearty food, I suppose. My only criticism is that our slice of carrot cake was dry, not moist. It seemed like it had been waiting for us for a couple of days, and so was not worth the calories. The building looked good, although to get to the food, the main entrance funnels you through a shop first. I understand they need to sell, but its inconvenient if you just want to eat. The surrounding countryside is on view, with seating outside and under cover outside. We will probably visit again when it gets a bit warmer as we have a dog, so we must sit outside.

Please take no notice of the bad reviews, this place is amazing!! The views are beautiful, the owner is lovely; he showed an interest in our new born baby, after recognising us from previous visits. The food and drink are great and I literally have no idea why people would write negative comments about this place!! It's definitely worth a visit and you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful place offering great views. We were there for breakfast and we were planning to sit outdoor but it was quite windy and cold whilst we were there so opted to sit indoor. The shop is very charming too with so many local produce sold as well as unique souvenirs and gifts. We'll definitely be back to hopefully enjoy their outdoor dining space.

Simple but very comforting and tasty breakfast. Serving up hearty English breakfast dishes we all know and love. The small veggie English breakfast was just the right amount and cooked very well. They have a nice selection of cooked dishes and hot drinks on the menu with additional items you can add to your breakfast depending on how hungry you are. The coffee is pretty decent and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. The service was superb and the staff are really friendly, despite it being a windy, rainy and cold day. There is a really nice wooden (and covered) outdoor eating area which offers a good amount of protection from any bad weather whilst we're still having to dine outdoors only.

Lovely farm shop with a great selection of local produce: fresh veg, milk, eggs, very appetising freshly baked bread. Lots of local gifts and souvenirs: Cotswold tea towels, aprons, oven gloves, mugs etc.The cafe area looked very nice so I was tempted with a latte and cake (which was yummy!). Staff is very polite and helpful.
