Amazing Sunday carvery!roast beef cooked just right and lovely veg, gluten free Yorkshire Puddings, cauliflower cheese and gravy so no one needed to miss out on the scrumptious trimmings! Make sure you book first as the whole place was packed, which is always a good sign!The best carvery I’ve ever had and the desserts were delicious too! I had the homemade bread and butter pudding which was fabulous.

What a stunning Sunday roast and I’ve had a few. The beef was succulent and just the right side of rare. Enough super fresh veg to sink a battleship, proper roasties and Yorkshire pudding. Thick rich dark gravy. All washed down with a pint or two of BB by donnington.The new owners have done it up just enough , but not too much. Bowling alley is still there!Nice log fire go welcome you in and friendly service all round.Don’t tell everyone or you’ll all want to go!

Roast available for us was a Seitan slice ....absolutely delicious and served up with our own gravy boat of sweet onion gravy superb. Such a surprise to be offered such a great vegan option 🙏🏼

The friendliest service I have had the pleasure to witness in a very long time! The food was delicious and the place is very cosy. We'd highly recommend! Few vegan options as well so, a bit for everyone on the menu.
