The Frogmill Restaurant in Cotswold

Good place. We went here to attend a wedding.Our deluxe room was very big and suitable for us, 2 adults and children.Helpful, kind staff. Picturesque setting. Short, easy drive to central Cheltenham.There was no fridge in the room which was surprising and would have been handy.Also the door opened easily from the inside. A latch to make it more childproof would have been appreciated.USB sockets on the plugs would have been appreciated.The hotel has a spacious site. A swing and slide for the children would be a good addition.If these small changes were made I would give it 5 stars and come back.

Beautiful place and waiter service was really impressive when we called in for lunch without a booking. The care and attention they showed to our little dog was really appreciated. Food great, couldn’t fault the experience. Well done!

We booked a signature room for my boyfriends 21st. The team upgraded us to the suite as it was a special occasion and it was beautiful. The snug room was lovely to spend some time in and have a drink. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a meal in the evening which was very tasty, the cocktails were good too!! Breakfast that comes included was great with fresh fruit and lots of choice. Our one night stay was made very special, we would highly recommend this stay to other couples! Thank you!!

Just come home after spending 4 days here.Used booking.com to book the hotel.Very easy to find on satnav. And a very beautiful and charming building. The staff was very friendly throughout our stay as we did see a lot of them. I rang the week before to arrange a flower delivery for my wife as it was also our wedding anniversary. They was more than happy to accommodate this request. Then a family member arrange a bucket of champagne which the hotel dealt with.The food was lovely and served piping hot on every occasion no food was wasted all clean plates.The room was number 3 at the top of the building a quirky room with the roof beams and little windows this just made the room so amazing.Each morning reception would great us and ask our plans for the day and offer suggestions as well which was a great help.We will certainly use this hotel again next time we visit this area.Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.Paul

Really lovely experience. We went and stayed for a wedding. The hotel was lovely and set up beautifully, everything ran extremely smoothly. From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making sure our visit was comfortable. Staff were very friendly to my five year old daughter and made sure she was entertained throughout the day.We stayed at the hotel over night. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Bath and shower were huge.All food eaten was delicious, suitable for all dietary requirements. Staff were happy to change the food if there were any issues. Breakfast had a lot choice. Normal help yourself, tea, fruit, bread with the option of being able to order eggs or a full breakfast as well.

A superb lunch for my mother in law’s birthday today. The service was absolutely excellent, all the staff were friendly and attentive with great eye for detail. The food was delicious. Thank you very much

Amazing stay! Me and my partner only stayed for 1 night but we’ve had such a wonderful time. The staff are all so friendly and the service has been great. We had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely and the same for breakfast too.The room was so cosy and clean. Would love to come again and hopefully stay for longer! Thanks for a wonderful stay 😊

Such a beautiful location that has been well maintained with attentive staff.Which makes it even more disappointing how bland and tasteless the food is. Feels like there is a distinct lack of care coming from the kitchen.The sharing platter looked more like something you'd buy in aldi but for 10 times the price!Hopefully enough wake up calls or bad reviews will stir this place from its slumber.

This was an amazing place. Stayed 4 nights to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Customer service outstanding everyone so lovely and rooms out of this world. Recommend 100% will definitely stay there again. ❤

Fantastic stay here mid-week. Staff are absolutely fantastic and very attentive. The room itself was great, clean and neat. Very nice feel to the whole place. Only issue was the king size bed was two mattresses zipped together, with the gap somewhat noticeable. Outdoor balcony area was great, with nice seating and enough lighting to be able to sit out there at night. In luded breakfast was decent with enough options to satisfy most. Dinner the night before was also fantastic, with great options and good flavour
