Lovely Cotswold pub. Good food, good beer and good service. Reasonable prices too!

Nice pub, pleasant staff but the menu was disappointing and expensive. At almost £13 each, I'd not expected a halloumi burger to be served in a cheap tasteless bun with a smattering of salad and a few frozen chips. I left the bun. The vegan option my friend had was worse. Bland and seemed to be little more than mashed sweet potato. Definitely overpriced and not a pleasant lunch, other than the company. I'll not be stopping by again.

Absolutely fantastic service and amazing food. The steak and ale pie was epic and no scrimping on the portions either. Roasts were so good and the Boxworth burger too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Visited this pub when it was very quite, however I believe this was just down to a quite time of the day as both the locally brewed pint and the staff were very good

As a visitor we felt quite unwelcome, just regular pub grub and didn’t use the toilets as they were so dirty. Don’t recommend to holiday makers.

Went to this pub from recommendation and was so pleased we did. Fabulous village pub with very friendly staff, instantly felt at ease. Food was amazing, good portions and reasonably priced. Koftas with tzatziki was Fabulous.

Disappointing. We had booked for lunch at one but even then our choice of food was severely limited by what was still available. It was all a bit Faulty Towers. The coup de grace was the announcement that “we only have instant coffee”. Service was polite and friendly.

A lovely little place to eat friendly and helpful staff nice food would recommend 👌

Rode over from leicester, great service, great food and fab and friendly staff.

A nice local pub. There were some nice local ales available which were well kept. The friendly locals at the bar taught us to play 'spoof' - a game of guessing how many coins in total a group of players has in their hands, each hold coins in a clenched hand, ranging from none to the number of people in the group, those who guess correctly are eliminated and the last person in the game buys a round.
