Good place to pop in for quick bite. Clean and tidy place, efficient and polite service.

It's a convient place to stop within the village. Service is friendly and staff are always helpful but I feel the meals are a little overpriced and there could be more atmosphere as the walls are plain and the tables are showing signs of ware.

A fantastic little hang out bar/cafe!Great atmosphere and cozy!

Great place to go to Friendly People. Pets allowed in so long as you keep them under control. Nicely located in the small parade of Shops. Various shops in the small parade. A chemist a charity shop a co-op and a Gym at the end of the parade in this small village. With it's only civic hall, a school a playing field. Unfortunately the local council have stopped them having a fireworks display and bonfire on the small field opposite the civic hall/ social hall this year. Not just because of the coronavirus but because the damage the bonfire causing to the grass. Which is a shame because I helped them 4 years ago with the marshaling to make sure the children crossed the road by the field safely

First time visiting but looking forward to returning. Friendly staff, delicious food and I would imagine nice and active at the weekends. Would be a great venue for a live music artist

I love this place. Service was absolutely spot on making sure the food was ok and making your happy. The breakfast is 10/10. Very clean place. 5 star well deserved. 👍

I'll keep it short and simple:1. New management is very hospitable. I felt extremely welcome and staff were accomodating.2. Decided on the captains burger. Amazing. Three cheeses, brioche bun it was just a fantastically cooked burger. Loved it.3. Price was brilliant, both my wife and I ate plenty (couldn't quite finish my wife's nachos!)4. Take away menu! Now I can grab a pizza and take it home. If you live near here you will know why this is so good! (Papa John's is an hour away!)Thanks guys! We will be back.

Absolutely brilliant bar, ran by a great family. Excellent beer that always tastes like it should. Fantastic selection of food as well. It's a clean and tidy place to visit.

Menu and timings on the website bears no resemblance to the menu they actually offer in the cafe. Unfortunately for us, this meant arriving just after food had stopped being served (at 2:30pm) versus 4pm stated on the website. Also on the website were plenty of appetising and imaginative options, but actually when you arrive and see the menu, it’s a very plain and simple menu in comparison. The staff members were friendly enough but preoccupied browsing on their phones or chatting to provide an attentive service. Had to ask twice for the bill and even then ended up having to visit the bar to pay. The cake was nice and the tea was hot. Otherwise though, quite disappointing

Fab local bar/cafe which has a wide variety of gins and the brunch menu is delicious. Such a shame to see it on the market! But truly hoping the new owners, whoever they may be, will keep it to its current cosy standard.
