Lovely inn, beautiful area. It is located in a nice place in the square where you can explore the restaurants, shops and curiosities without having to go far. Room was very comfortable and clean. It is an old building with one very steep staircase which may be an issue for some people, but for us it was fine. No sign of any ghosts! Dinner and breakfast were also really nice, with clear vegetarian options and plenty of choice. The staff were very personable and friendly.

We had lovely 2 night stay. Comfy bed in a clean room and great breakfasts in generous quantities (never eaten so much smoked salmon). The landlady was friendly and informative and the bar stayed open to normal hours.Great old building but the upper rooms require you to be fully able-bodied to reach them - this is made clear when you book.11am checkout made leaving a rush-free departure.

Very friendly staff who had time for a chat even though they were very busy. Excellent food. My fish and chips were the best I’ve had for a very long time and the great minted mushy peas that were with it were an added bonus. Good value for money as well.

Fantastic two night stay booked across two rooms. Our cottage room (room 2) had a downstairs 'living space', the bed in a spacious upstairs. The second room of our booking had a lovely view of the square. Both rooms were beautiful and very clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided etc.Our food was fantastic, especially the breakfast which was superb. Also, can't praise the staff enough. Everyone was so helpful and genuine. Special mention to James who served us both evenings. Great guy. Would recommend the King's Arms to anyone!

My wife and I visited Stow for three days. Nice to come back to the Kings Arms. We sat upstairs which was in a fantastic old room. My blade of beef dinner was 10 out of ten. One of the nicest meals I ve ever eaten. The staff were very welcoming. I would highly recommend the Kings Arms.

Popped in for a cup of coffee on a chilly day - we were welcomed by the friendly staff & were served quickly. The pub was busy with a lovely atmosphere. Will go to this lovely dog friendly place again where we have eaten before.

Stayed over the night here and had breakfast. Very friendly service by all staff throughout our stay. We stayed in room 2 which was the cottage. Very clean and comfortable. All amenities were in the room including tea, coffee and bottled water. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Great service again and the waitress in the morning really looked after us well. Would 100% reccomend a stay, food and drink. Will hopefully be back to stay again

This was our second stay here, & it was even better than the first.Very spacious comfortable room, excellent food & outstanding staff.Over the past 8 years we have stayed at The Stag, The Bell & Stowe Lodge, they were all good but The Kings Arms surpasses them all in our opinion. We will definitely be returning.
