The Lakeside Brasserie in Cotswold

Fantastic food of ample portions...with a relaxing atmosphere.Service unfortunately a let down, when at least 3 members of staff left shift after 2pm.Staff levels cannot cope with demand - potential for management to sort out work rotas as afternoon service (past 2pm) needs an overhaul.

Excellent views of the water, great ambience, and food was good.Fish n Chips, Ski Club Sandwich, and Chicken wings were all delicious. I'd rate these all about 4/5.However, the let down was the burger - the patty was cooked well-done, rendering it tough and dry. It also looked as though it contained a lot of binders which made the texture rather gluey and unappealing (see photo of cross-section). This is a clear 1/5.The burger was the main distraction from what was otherwise a good meal. We would recommend this place, save that the burger be avoided.

Wonderful as always!! We visited for Mother's Day Sunday and had a fantastic meal sat outside by the lake. We were looked after very well and will be back to see you very soon. Thank you very much ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely setting for our final breakfast, before heading home, after a lovely holiday in the Cotswolds. Full English Breakfast was very nice with excellent friendly service, would recommend.

Went for a dinner date with hubby.. booked a table and they accommodated us on short notice...we would probably enjoy the lake view on day time.

Lovely place to go for a bite and enjoy stunning views. The atmosphere is always positive and watching people wakeboarding and water skiing is always fun. The food is nice and staff friendly

Location is just amazing! By the lake with great view of people doing water sports!However I was disappointed by the service. Went there mid week for lunch and they had table for us but said they can’t serve food as there is lots of orders in place already. If you can accommodate everyone, just don’t have that many tables, or increase your personnel to meet the demand.Also, despite the government scheme of Eat Out to Help Out, we were charged full price!

Lovely cafe/restaurant with reasonably priced food which another reviewer correctly described as unassuming. Friendly staff, beautiful views from the veranda. Can get a bit crèche-y at times due to the tourists but can’t be helped given the location in the water parks and far better than places nearby.

Couldn't ask for a nicer location! Cozy inside and a fantastic lake side view on the balcony or garden area, on nice weather days you can either just watch people doing water sports or have a go yourself then go for a bite to eat. Good value for money and a great menu.
