Had a couple of pints and dinner here, landlord was charming and the food was very tasty, we went on curry night which was very tasty! They're also one of the only pubs to serve a decent selection of local ales and lagers! The Cotswalds lager was great!

A really wonderful stay at this b&b which was over the pub. Ade and his Mrs run this place and they run it exceptionally well. The room was just like the picture on the website (a first for us!), so clean too, and the food was amazing. They have an extensive gin selection too. The whole place is tastefully decorated and the music fab. Great location a few minutes walk to the heart of Bourton on the Water. We wished we could stay longer. Would definitely stay again. Brilliant place.

Excellent pub. We had a nice dinner. It’s a lively atmosphere, bright with good ambiance. Even a sign on the door that calls attention to your volume as you exit, as it’s in a quiet neighborhood. I bet people walked out jazzed because it’s lively.. which would be very loud on the street. It’s the type of place that everything your order will be top-notch.We tried to stay here but our dates mixed up so we had to book down the street elsewhere. This would be our first choice if we make it back.

We visited the Mousetrap on a few occasions whilst staying locally on holiday. The owners and staff were very welcoming, great service, good choice of drinks and the food was amazing!! Our dogs were also very well looked after!! 😊 Definitely worth a visit if you’re passing, thoroughly recommended

Quaint hotel/B&B owners and staff welcoming, Breakfast pre select night before good idea for small establishment. Evening meal excellent book as it get busy with locals. Handy for all local attractions which means no driving. Would stay again.

Stayed one night, diner and breakfast. For the price and atmosphere it deserves a full mark. Food wise they challenge and do not offer only basic pub food and it was good. Owners are really nice people. You can always find things to improve but overall when you are welcomed feel at ease service is fast and any arrangements are done and price is reasonable what to say. The inn is well placed. We enjoyed the stay.

In Bourton on the Water for weekend had booked The Mousetrap Inn for Friday evening. Food was excellent with quirky menu. Owners were so welcoming and added to the great atmosphere in the pub. Was fully booked for Saturday but with a bit of persuasion got squeezed in for early Saturday evening. It certainly didn't disappoint. Menu was similar to Friday evening but still very happy with this. Food was as good as the previous night. Good banter with owner and his wife (medium to well done .... they will get this!!!) Would highly recommend but you do need to book well in advance. Keep doing what you are doing as it is fabulous. Theresa and Jimmy

Great ambiance. Super friendly tenders and nice selections of drinks. Great outdoor seating area. Only downside is the smokers that were hanging out front. I would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

·

Lovely cosy pub with a very interesting menu. The food was beautifully cooked and great value. Attentive staff, good wine selection and great cocktails. Treats for the dogs too. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Absolutely beautiful, quaint and quirky pub. Excellent food; adventurous menu. Great selection of gin. A beautiful inn throughout with thoughtful decor. We were lucky to have a lovely room in "stableblock". It was compact but full of character and charm and had everything we needed. We were very comfortable and made to feel welcome. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will be returning. The inn is a short walk from the main village centre and we needed to park a little way away, which might be a consideration for some.
