Fabulous meal in sunshine in the attractive garden of The Priory today. Moules Frites excellent and ham, egg and chips top notch. Half-rack of ribs ENORMOUS and very filling, but nonetheless delicious. Staff attentive and friendly, and drinks and food service very prompt. We'll be back...definitely when the pizza oven is fired up again, but anyway, as this is a great place. Would definitely recommend 👍

The new owners, Natalie and Matt, are extremely welcoming and eager to get it back to its former glory. They have a stout on tap that is fantastic. We'll definitely be visiting a lot.

We went for meal on a Friday evening with friends. The pub is under new ownership and I can report that it shaping up very nicely for the future. The bar staff are very helpfull and friendly, and even knew our table number when we arrived and ordered drinks to join our friends, before we even gave our names. The food was top drawer, it may of been only standard ham egg and chips, but the sourced ham was plentiful and thickly sliced and so tasty. The chips homemade and eggs free-range. We all felt full and happy after our meal. So good to see this great pub in good hands with a bright future, as Arnie said, we will be back....

We went on an overnight deal. The hotel is nice, clean and welcoming. The staff are lovely and the hotel is popular even on a Sunday evening. Our bedroom and that of our friends was lovely. Beautifully furnished with lovely big beds and good quality everything. The bathroom was huge and fully equippedThis is a nice place to stay and offers good value. Parking ism my really an issue and a three minute walk gets you to a cheap car park.

Nat and her team were absolutely fantastic! Hosting a large group in their private function room for dinner and having us to stay for two nights. Very happy and would recommend!

We phoned ahead at short notice on a Saturday lunchtime. The the new team could not have been more obliging. A warm welcome, great food and outstanding service! We will definitely be back.

Food was ok. Waiting staff very friendly, but the manager was very rude and patronising.Myself and partner with our two dogs went to this dog friendly pub, where one of our dogs barked back at another dog barking across the room. Unfortunately, we was asked if we knew how to make him stop otherwise she would have to kick us out. Very over the top for a couple of barks. Won't be coming back.

Went yesterday. Tired place filthy toilets. Two girls in black behind bar serving intoxicated drunk guy Guinness and found it entertaining. Neither went outside to check if he was ok. He could of walked into the road or fallen. Had that feeling of a place just about to close up.

Stayed just for one night. Room was very nice and spacious. Comfy bed! Nice bar and restaurant but there was no food served on a Sunday evening. Breakfast was better than expected too except for the Poached Eggs. Overall, pleased. Will be back!

Very warm welcome for a large party for a pre booked meal. The table was all ready for us. Service was fast and attentive and the food was good. The discount on having a three course meal from the menu is amazing. Sorry I have to say for me coriander in a mango cheesecake did not hit the spot and I like coriander! I would have liked more choice for the desserts. However the starters and mains were excellent. Good sized car park too.
