Good old fashion friendly pub. Clean, atmospheric, great staff and competitive pricing.

A delightful little find. This is exactly what a little local pub should be like. Nothing fancy however, great tasting value for money food. Nothing was too much trouble. Will be back again. Thank you.

Came across this village by chance. Nice old style pub. Had pints and cheese toasties which were grand. Magnificent setting.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The kids food looked ok and I think they enjoy it. I had a baked Camembert was very rich and I couldn't finish it. I would have like some salad with it, not just bread.

Lovely, small, almost hidden pub in the market place. Basic menu but cheaply priced! Visited here as was featured on This Country show and we enjoyed our time.

I would give it less than 1 star if possible as I have had numerous occasions leaving the pub with regret. The beer is pretty awful most of the time and when it is good it doesn't last. The male toilets are something you can never forget. They can be smelt from the bar most of the time. When you are inside the toilets you have to hold your breath to avoid suffocation. The church is a much more exciting trip for the family.

We were on our way past and spotted this place. Attracts more of a mature crowd with an atmosphere of a traditional drinking hole. Not the widest selection of ales, I was disappointed they didn't stock the local breweries beers, especially after coming if a tour of the place the day previous. I think with a refurbishment, a younger crowd would find the place more attractive.

A basic happy pub. Nothing flash, just got old ham and chips-type pub. Good ales and lagers on tab, a pool table and TV. At the time we went we challenged some locals to a game whilst watching the Rugby World Cup. Which was fun.The barmaid was lovely too. Gets all the basics right=)
