The Snooty Fox in Cotswold

Had an afternoon tea booked here via virgin experience. Had a great time with the staff making the experience that much more enjoyable. Will be back in the near future to explore more of Tetbury and find out what The Snooty Fox has to offer.

Been refurbished since last time in here and they have done a great job on it. Good selection of drinks and excellent food and service. Very good!

Beautiful building. Open fire in the friendly bar. Staff really lovely & approachable.Rooms very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated & furnished, & bed's are luxurious. Our suite had a jacuzzi bath as an added luxury.There was an excellent cooked breakfast selection. A nicer fruit selection could have been a thought.We had the afternoon tea which was just lovely, but could have gone up a notch with some better background music and upgraded china tea cups & saucers.The evening meal was very nice & reasonably priced.Downside no immediate parking facilities or permits offered for local car parks, but there are free carparks a short walk away.All in all a very enjoyable weekend at The Snooty Fox hotel, well worth a stay.

Went to the Snooty Fox for afternoon tea. It was one of the best afternoon teas we have had (we do it quite a lot!). It’s a lovely building, tastefully decorated, and every staff member is very friendly and professional. I’m just glad we don’t live close by - we would find ourselves visiting every week!

Really enjoyed a little break here. It's in a lovely, convenient spot in a pretty town with plenty of independent shops to browse round. The hotel itself is nicely appointed and our room was tastefully decorated and clean. Throughout our stay, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were very kind to our little dog too. However, we were surprised that, in spite of customers being asked to wear masks, none of the staff wore them - not very reassuring. Our room wasn't serviced in the morning, so we collected some loo roll from the ladies' and asked for more tea etc. This was placed on top of the dirty cups on the tray in the room - not the best. There was no hair dryer but when I asked, they did give me one without any fuss. The bar was cosy with a little fire blazing, although they then ran out of logs. All the food we had was good, but the only vegetarian option for dinner was a burger. It would be easy to make this so much better but we did enjoy our stay, overall.

A lovely over night stay. Food in the restaurant was delicious, service was really friendly. Lovely wine! Cosy and warm pub. Really really nice. Not snooty at all!

We dropped in for brunch on a recent trip to the Cotswolds, lovely spot, really lovely staff, a small menu but tasty food. Dog friendly and welcoming to our dog. The hotel itself looks really very nice, a historic building in a lovely location

Lots of lovely places in Tetbury but this is my favourite. For a snack or meal it comes with bags of English charm which is priceless. Great staff an food too...

Stayed for 2 nights on a Champagne break. What a lovely hotel and a good base for exploring the Cotswolds. Friendly welcome and very comfortable room with jacuzzi bath and powerful shower. Nice bar to enjoy drinks and the most amazing food which was outstanding. All the staff are a credit to the hotel as were very friendly and helpful I totally recommend a stay here and we will definitely stay again.

We can't comment on a hotel stay, but ate in the restaurant two nights in a row, the first time due to being let down elsewhere. The food was good, simple recipes cooked well, and with lots of flavour. We so enjoyed it, we went back the next evening, and ate a different dish each, which was as tasty as the night before! We are hoping to come back to the area soon, and will definitely considering staying at the Snooty Fox.
