The Talbot in Cotswold

Had lunch on a Sunday, food was extremely good for the price. Fresh and very tasty.

Had a fantastic steak and chips, the owner came over and had a chat which was lovely of him. Made us feel really welcome, going back again tonight for a meal

Excellent service and very friendly staff the beer is very well kept and food for a pub is amazing full of flavour and great portion sizes will be returning soon in the near future

Really enjoyed having a few drinks in this place the staff are extremely friendly + polite i will be in the warmer months...

We had a good meal here (a Thurs evening in November) - based upon the quality of the food, it was somewhat surprising that the pub was not busier.

Visited The Talbot for a funeral wake and the food was brilliant. Cosy atmosphere. Staff very pleasant.

I had a few nice beers and a good and simple ham egg and chips. The staff were nice, the food was extremely good value. The place isn't as showy as some of the other pubs, but it impresses with its simplicity and clean toilets.

Nice place to have lunch and drinks. Food was freshly prepared and staff was really nice. They have a outdoor sitting as well and the lunch was served till late 3.30pm unlike other restaurants in the area.

Excellent food, very large portions. We couldn't finish the meals. But the food was fantastic. Well worth a visit. There is also a wide range of meals.

Service was friendly and personable. Food was solid but not extraordinary. Stick to traditional pub fare and you won't be disappointed. I recommend the pork and chive sausages.
