Looking for a gluten free meal, the options on the menu displayed outside looked good. After ordering drinks we were presented with a menu which included no gluten free items. The very pleasant waitress then said the chef could cook a gluten free fish and chips which we accepted. When the fish was served it had skin still on and the batter was insipid. Not a good experience. A shame because the ambiance was excellent.

Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Room and meals were good, and we were very comfortable. Bit of a struggle to park as the hotel doesn't have its own car park. All in all it's a good place to stay in Moreton.

Wonderful lunch experience with enchanting ambience and lovely food. We ordered the carrot and ginger soup to start and it was the best soup I’ve had in ages, best part of the meal. The children’s meals were great and a value. Would definitely visit again!

Staff were excellent throughout our stay - they made sure to remember the details like our name and the fact it was my birthday. The dinner was delicious and the service was quick. The room was lovely and well-presented. We'd definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had 2 nights stay celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We had a fantastic time. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Evening meal and breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel for a long time. Special mention to James who was immense! Very professional, helpful, thoughtful & genuine in his care for us from booking our stay to arrival. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Outstanding hotel in an outstanding location, and the staff and service were truly exceptional. They accommodated our every request, including my daughters' special dietary needs.... and the Snug Bar...like sitting in the middle of history. Highly recommend.

Just enjoyed a 3 night break and was so impressed with the welcome, room and service we received from the staff, they were all friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. We eat in the bar every night, enjoying the best Yorkshire pudding ever. I would recommend White Hart Royal to family and friends. Well done everyone we hope to come back. Thank you from Den, Vena and Milliestaff.

A lovely hotel, staff friendly, helpful and polite.Had our evening meal in the bar with the dogs. Food was outstanding and worth every penny. Home made pie (steak and kidney), fish and chips were more than enough. Menu was very reasonable priced as were the drinks. The room was excellent, clean, roomy, with everything you could want. Very dog friendly, and a small fee to pay for having them as guests too.Would love to re-visit sometime,

My wife and I spent 5 nights at The White Hart Royal at the end of November/early December.I had stayed at this hotel on a couple of visits previously and was keen to take my wife there whilst she was attending a course locally. If anything, things were even better than any of my previous visits. The level of customer care was exceptional (and I used to deliver Customer Care training courses). Polite, efficient, willing to engage and were delighted to help if you had any queries. After my first night I made a request for a different pillow. I got the impression that the manager was simply pleased that I had asked and he could do something to rectify the issue rather than posting a negative review about how uncomfortable they were. Returning that evening we had a number of pillows to choose from. The chef is first rate. All of the food was excellent and nicely presented and I can genuinely say that the roast beef I had on Sunday evening was the best roast I have ever had out.Lovely snug bar, good quality drinks.I would highly recommend this hotel and commend all of the staff.
