Atlantis Fish Bar in East Devon

Fabulous fish and chips. Really tasty and obviously very popular cause it was so busy! We took a high chair for our 18 month old and he sat on the seafront and had some of his dad's fish, some of my sausage and some chips and looked at me like he'd won the lottery the rest of the way home. If you know toddler's then you will understand that on his behalf this was a 5 star review.

We only had chips, but they were freshly cooked to perfection, sitting under the canopy in the sun and out of the wind perfect way to eat the chips

We went there hoping for a table in the restaurant next door. It was closed. The fish and chip place looked excellent and very busy.

Whilst our order was cooking, a female employee came and wiped our bench with sanitiser. We had a good portion of tasty, fresh hot chips each, with salt & vinegar. We sat outside in the little lean to conservatory area. It was pleasant as they had outdoor heaters on because due to the fierce wind chill factor, it actually felt like only one degree Celsius outside with the blustery wind. 😳These chips were good today, but we have had chips here before, and they were excellent. 🍟 4/5 today. Atlantic Bay is the best chip shop locally.

Called in for fish & chips last week whilst on holiday The young lady behind the counter was really pleasant and helpful and did not rush us into making our choice of meal. The fish and chips were freshly cooked and hot so we did not mind a short wait for our food.I cannot rate the service etc. highly enough and we will be back when visiting the area on our next holiday in 2022.

One of the best Fish & Chip shops in North Devon but not the usual high standard on last Friday evening…I understand it was a very busy and staff were trying to get orders out but our fish was not drained long enough which left the batter holding oil.On previous visits, the staff were coming outside the shop to notify collection customers that their order was ready but this wasn’t the case on Friday either making for a congested shop and waiting area.

The Fish was amazing, the chips to die for. The peas are the best mushy peas I've ever tasted, just the right amount of mush. 5 stars.

The perfect seaside chippy! The chips are the perfect balance of fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and the portions sizable. I went for the pea fritter as a healthy option. My brother got some curry sauce, which was just the right amount of gloopy with a rich curry flavour. Definitely recommended

We had hands down the best fish and chips that we have had in a very long time here. It was quite busy and there was a fair wait, but god it was worth the wait! We sat on the bench on the promenade and ate it as all the benches were full. We enjoyed the view while we ate our extremely nice fish and chips! It was well enjoyed and worth the money.
