Cinnamons Indian Restaurant in East Devon

Delicious food and friendly staff. We were a party of five and dined in at the restaurant as it was close to an event we were attending locally. The dishes were interesting and very tasty - some inspired variations on the usual options at an Indian restaurant. Generous portions but they were happy to box up any leftovers for us. We'd definitely return next time we are staying nearby.

A very good place to meet for a meal. Tasty food, wide menu and reasonable prices. Bring your own booze (a bonus) and soft drinks available to purchase. A lovely evening out celebrating a family birthday.

Just don't bother! Ordered at 7:15 for delivery at around 8. With no further updates, 8 o'clock had come and gone. We waited, fork in one hand and knife in the other, until 8:35, when we called for an update. "The driver has left, your food will be with you within 15 minutes". 25 mins later, calling for another update, it was "5 minutes" which swiftly changed to "15". I was told they were unable to give us a refund and that all they could do was cancel our food. It came 2 hours after it was ordered, cold and with tubs half-full. Beyond awful customer service!

Had a great evening, friendly, welcoming, food is great, large portions great value for money. My work friends and I had a great laugh. I was gluten free but not problem thanks Karen

Had a takeaway a couple of weeks ago which was OK. We then booked a table to eat in the following weekend.Upon arrival to eat in we were met by a very uninterested waitress who looked so unfriendly didn't ask for our name etc. We decided not to put up with this poor service so we decided to leave before ordering any food. We then went on to a super friendly Indian restaurant not too far away and had a fabulous meal. Won't bother with this place again

Booked a table in advance only to turn up on the day to be told they had booked the whole restaurant out to a group of 28 (it was empty when we arrived with no table set) and they couldn't honour our reservation . The Managers apology was woeful, and we had used a taxi service to get there and back so were stuck in Axminster. This though was not an issue in the end as a local recommended Safars Indian which was exceptional but also had a much nicer decor. My advice, avoid disappointment and go to Safars!

Left a review on just eat and it got removed?!? I will not go into massive detail, however received a takeaway order back in late December, found a piece of Completely RAW chicken in one of the dishes, had even put it in my mouth and started chewing it before realising, was therefore very sick. Informed the restaurant of this grave error, my compensation for this? The equivalent of about £7.50 - one dish, off my next order!) Absolute joke! Considering the seriousness of the mistake.

The food was okay but the venue is pretty cramped. The staff made more than a few mistakes with getting the order right or leaving things out that were ordered. Not just our meal but others who were also dining. Not the best experience at an Indian restaurant and a bit of a funny tummy the next day.

They're my go-to Indian restaurant. The food has always hit the mark. I've occasionally eaten-in with very good service but usually I use their free delivery. Delivery has gotten a bit slow in recent times when I use just eat so I recommend collecting if you can. I tend to order from their chef specials and I'm always very happy.

We visit the Lyme area a lot on holiday and have used Cinamons a number of times. Always good quality and really flavoursome food. A good selection on the menu.Have only had take out food but the restaurant does look nice.Friendly staff too.
