Docks Cafe in East Devon

This is a genuine old school cafe, not pretentious, just concentrating on good food and service. Always busy, a smiling face will great you, and you'll get simple, well prepared food at a fair price.

Great food, quick and efficient service and very reasonable prices. We had veggie breakfast (huge and tasty) and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Highly recommended

Being local used this cafe on many occasions..so today when our oldest son was visiting decided to go for breakfast ...No complaints on food but when came to pay tried to 9vercharge by £10 only when asked for a breakdown which they'didnt seem keen to do was it realised ...No apology but earlier my husband had heard them saying they had messed up on someone's bill and undercharged makes me wonder if they were trying to make up for undercharging someone else ...shall think twice before going again....The simple fact there was no apology and had I not questioned it ...That isn't very good at all.

I have fond memories of this place as a young adult. I'm happy to say the place has been updated, the quality of the food is still decent and the price reasonable. Overall good value for money.
