Great shop, good choice of quality local foods and other specialty products, friendly staff, a lovely deli counter with fresh cooked items like sausage rolls, scotch and other eggs etc. Well kept and diverse cheeses.Maybe next time will go into the restaurant, there are also a couple of drink/food stalls outside plus the animals to visit.

Great food except for the onion rings.First visit to the restaurant to try the recommended local fresh food. Fish was great, but why use cheap frozen onion mix rings. Fresh whole rings make a big difference.Drink selection was great. Will return in hope of decent rings🤞

Amazing! What can I say. A lovely stroll round looking at the animals, coffee from the coffee van, a further stroll with the animals and exploring the tractors followed by some extremely tasty food in the cafe and a stroll round the stunning array of produce in the farm shop. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again soon to try the afternoon tea for two!

Went too a classic car show on Sunday 10th April 2022 and as we was early decided to go grab breakfast . The staff were really friendly they seated us took our order and within 4 minutes we had our drinks and within 10 minutes we had our food which was of outstanding quality. They say you get what you pay for and considering the price which was a little more than some cafe's it was all fresh cooked local produce and tasted amazing we enjoyed it thoroughly thoroughly after that we went round the farm shop and grabbed some bits from there as well and have to say all areas were exceptionally clean and staff were all helpful , will definitely visit again

I can't fault Greendale, they are brilliant. They've improved they're packaging so much and the food is so fresh. Occasionally things are out of stock but there's no problems with refunds. Even the delivery chap is so nice, I have arthritis in my hands so really painful lifting a box but he places it over the doorstep for me. What a nice chap.

Greendale farm shop is a mini supermarket selling loads of normal supermarket lines and produce from local farms and boutique food and gift entrepreneurs. There's everyday essentials like fresh produce, fresh fish, crab, crayfish, and bucketload of meat options to satisfy any caveman instincts. There's normal milk and even organic milk with plenty of selections of butter, cream and cheese options. Loads on offer for the pantry and there's a lovely deli selling traditional pork pies, cornish pasties and other quick yummy treats on the go. If you're wanting a sit down meal, there's a cafe / Restaurant inside for sit down or takeaway meals but we didn't order anything from there. We walked in tobthe Greendale farm shop only wanting a couple of things but walked out with loads of treats, chippies, dips and local preserves. Definitely a place that children will love as they can roam the farm with adults trying to strike up a conversation with donkeys, ponies, ostriches, ducks, swans, kangaroos and goats of all sizes ... and if that's not enough, let them pretend to be a farmer on the old tractors- who knows, maybe you'll wear them out so you can get some peace and quiet on the way home!

We just visited the farm shop restaurant after friends reviews after being there. I can honestly say the whole experience was appalling. Staff were not attentive, mainly on their phones - all of them would have benefited from some customer service training. The food was inedible, the calamari as a starter was chewy and clearly not fresh. The chicken wings my husband had were tough and tasted like them had been done in the microwave. Steak baguette - the baguette was soaked through with blood to the point you could squeeze it out and the steak clearly hadn’t been rested and was mainly gristle. Very disappointing- when giving feedback about the inedible steak baguette I was told abruptly that the steak was rested and that was it no apology or acknowledgment about any of the feedback. It’s certainly an experience I would not like to repeat which is a shame as we love the farm shop. It’s also off putting when you have a table of staff behind you clearly on their breaks eating their own packed lunches being rather vocal about the awkward moaning customers they have had to serve today. £60 that I could have spent a much better way having food that was edible. Safe to say we will not be returning nor recommending the restaurant to anyone in the near future.

Best of both worlds. My 2 year old loves anything farm related so he adored seeing all the animals, so many to see and the goats and donkeys were so friendly and came up for kisses. The farm shop is huge, fantastic array of food and drink to choose from, we both had a lovely morning 👍

Lovely farm shop, plenty of produce but it's not massive or overwhelming. I have been looking for mushroom ketchup for AGES for a recipe, and Greendale has it so that's 5 gold stars from me! plenty of parking too.Cafe serves lovely drinks, didn't have any food so can't comment there, but my hot chocolate was delicious, not a big standard instant one 👍 only very slight issue was that staff didn't seem to be all on quite the same page regarding table availability! Someone seated us inside, then another member of staff asked us to leave as the table was reserved. We asked if we could reserve a table and they said yes, so we were moved to that table 🤷🏼‍♀️ then we were told to order at the counter which we did, and then a different member of staff came over to our table to take our order 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ not the end of the world or a problem, just a bit annoying! Also there are cute animals outside

The store is beautiful and elegant, surrounded by many animals that can be seen, and also contains a restaurant that requires reservations before coming and a small children's play area
