We love this pub and have visited several times. We find the staff always so friendly and the food top notch. This pub has a lovely garden with a separate outdoor bar.I'm only giving it 4 stars though because I think the portions have got smaller and the prices bigger. I know that everything is going up, but for nearly ÂŁ16 for a roast with a bit of meat, few potatoes and I bit of crackling with a bowl of veg is a little pricey.

Fantastic experience at The Greyhound Inn. 5 Stars. My wife, 2 daughters and I have just got back from our Sunday Lunch at The Greyhound Inn and we really feel compelled to write a good review for this establishment. The Sunday lunch was beautifully cooked, well proportioned and wonderfully plated. The Girls had the children's size and this was more than enough. Easily the best Sunday lunch we have had for a long time. The Inn itself is warm, cosy and inviting oozing character with a wonderfully rustic charm. I was told it is mentioned in the doomsday book! The outside is very well Kept and plenty of parking. The restaurant was clean, tidy and All the tables were laid out nicely. The table wear, cutlery and glass wear all spotless and it’s these little details that really make a good restaurant, a great restaurant. Lovely atmosphere as well. The customer service was flawless. Each and every member of staff was professional, smart, polite, and friendly. Greeting us when we came in, checking on us and saying goodbye as we left.In my opinion the price is fair for the food and service you receive. After lunch went to the beer garden for a coffee and to let the girls play in the small park outside and burn off some steam.Overall this place is everything we thought it would be and more. It’s the little attention to detail that makes this establishment stand out and it’s safe to say we will be returning very soon.

Great place to stay, me and my partner were thoroughly impressed with the rooms and was perfectly situated for our friends rural wedding. Breakfast was very good also, highly recommend!

Stayed overnight at thus lovely thatched inn at Fenney Bridges. We had a double bedroom with en suite which was very comfortable accommodation. TV and tea making facilities were also provided. We had also booked an evening meal and both had 8oz rump steak which was delicious. This was followed by sticky toffee pudding and ice cream, and cheese board. I chose the 3 cheese option, and I can honestly say without word of a lie this was the best cheese and biscuits I've ever had. It included biscuits, grapes celery and chutney. The stay also included morning breakfast. So many things on the menu to choose from. Any selection was no problem. Staff were excellent and very friendly, and I hope to visit again should the opportunity arise. If you are in the vicinity please visit/stay here. You will not be disappointed

Stayed for the night, last minute booking and could not have been happier. Lovely country inn, friendly staff, great food and bedrooms were immaculate. Would certainly go again. Given how many places are struggling with service post pandemic these guys have it cracked. Breakfast was very good, but the dinner menu had some very good starters that are above and beyond what you would expect.

Lovely pub and lovely setting. I don't like being critical of staff as you don't really know how long they have been working there. I'd order the beef and when our order arrived the waiter asked who was having the lamb. When he had just the one plate left I said I'd ordered beef and he said that must be this one then. It was beef. We had also asked for a couple of extra napkins and just before we left the waitress asked if we still wanted them. Bit late I'm afraid. Ok, minor criticisms, the food was ok but not outstanding. Would I go back? Probably not. Would I recommend the Greyhound? Possibly.

Very good. Service was quick and quality was very high - there's not a lot I wouldn't do for that duck starter. Prices also good, and it came out only a little above thirty quid per head for three courses. Menu was quite short but had a broad range and meant that it all came out fresh

What a fantastic hotel. Used it as a 2 night stop for a wedding and I cannot fault it. Clean, organised, friendly, great pub and restaurant area and a fantastic breakfast...my eggs were a little too hard to dip my soldiers but all is forgiven as the rest of the service is fantastic!

We popped in last Saturday for lunch and despite the pub being super busy the staff couldn't have been more lovely. The food was quick and yum and the service was great. 10/10 would recommend.

We often visit here as being Coeliac they have the menu covered. The staff are always very helpful and the food is absolutely brilliant. Great size portions and very very tasty. Thank you team, always a pleasure to visit.
