Half Moon Inn in East Devon

Absolutely brilliant. Went today with my family. Food was amazing and good value and the service was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend everyone to go. You won't be disappointed.

Very friendly staff, excellent service and food (lamb's liver and bacon and stuffed pork belly). We ate there two nights over a weekend. Dog friendly as well. And the beer was well kept. Recommended!

Lovely surroundings, warm from a glowing fire.Attentive staff, absolutely gorgeous meal just cooked to perfection and presented well.Nothing was too much trouble.

We had a surprise birthday for my mums 70th here. The food, service and hospitality was fantastic. They literally couldn't do enough for us. We were all so impressed with the food... note: make sure you go there hungry, portions are very generous!It's was a fab evening from start to finish.Highly recommend.Thank you to all the team for a great night 😊

Food and service exemplary. It is a nice little family pub, close to motorway with lots of free parking and great selection of food and drinks. Best for us is that they are happy for you to take your (well-behaved) dogs with you. We'll certainly be going back when we next pass through Exeter.

Had a superb meal here. Menu very varied, & offers either small or larger portions. Excellent quality food. Service very good, friendly & nothing too much trouble. Will definitely return.

Loved this pub. Food was great, all the staff friendly and helpful. We had booked a table in the restaurant area and arrived during the Scotland v England 6 Nations match. When the owner realised we would have liked to carry on watching the game it was no trouble to have us moved so thank you for that. Definitely a big thumbs up and hope to visit again.

Lovely little pub. Although steak pie had mushroom and not advised ruined partners dinner. Asked if burgers were plain for my daughter told they were but came out with salad which included a gerkin. Apart from that friendly atmosphere.

Food was very nice for the wife but I wish there was more information about the steak and ale pie it was full of mushrooms witch I don't like at all but know mention of them on the menu which could of helped me pick something else

Found this place whilst working away, one of the friendliest places I’ve been in. David & his staff were so pleasant & talkative. Food was excellent it’s proper home cooked food (not food factory rubbish!) if your looking for somewhere to eat & drink in Exeter this is the place.
