Joshua's Harvest Store Restaurant in East Devon

Fantastic place to visit. Great shop, lovely place for coffee. Wonderful staff. Thanks for being so kind to our puppy, Tarka!

Came here for lunch midweek with a friend. You don’t need to wait to be seated and can choose a table as you please. I have a temporary disability and the seating is varied (sofas, soft chairs, high dining chairs) which I am sure would be useful for others to know. They have a good selection of meals for lunch and late breakfast. The portion sizes were very generous and the gluten free cake choices were ample. The cakes were individually wrapped and whilst I’m not a huge fan of packaging, this did mean that they tasted very fresh. They also had non-dairy milk and decaffeinated drink options. The shop itself is amazing with so many gifts, treats and essentials. Definitely worth a visit if nearby

Small nice to look around went to cafe and had a tapas ploghmans everything in separate dishes on a wooden board. Best served on a plate as when you where trying to pick up the food from the inderviual dishes it was a pain..

Our favourite venue Excellent food friendly staff good range of products.

Excellent well laid out, bright, charming country store with stacks of interesting, original and tasty items. A delightful range of gifts, cleaning stuff, dried, fresh and frozen foods... great for buying environmentally friendly, biodegradable and organic produce (eg, washing and conditioner liquids), muesli mixes, local brews and a wide range of honeys, nuts, fruits, marmalades, jams, soaps and veg...even sago and tapioca! Ample parking, and CHARMING staff! Highly recommended!!!

The tea cakes are really lovely! However, might I tactfully suggest that, instead if leaving your customers waiting for up to 5 minutes to place an order without even acknowledging their presence, a friendly 'hello, I'll be with you in a minute' or 'I won't keep you waiting long' would make a BIG difference. (As would noticing when you've overcharged!!)I will still come, if only for a tea cake!

Visited this morning with friends (17th Aug) for a disjointed customer service experience in the restaurant. What appeared to be too many clueless unwelcoming staff. Very disappointed, especially in the current climate where good customer service is required for people to keep returning. The shop seems to have alot of new varied stock, which makes a nice change. Along with a great new selection of vegetarian meals, which was a delightful find after a disastrous first impression.

I adore Joshua's. It's one of my favourite places to lose myself in.If you want a gift for someone that is really different, plus exquisite cards then it's all under one roof. The food hall is superb and a real variety of special and interesting products. And the Baked In Store pasties and cakes are scrumptious!!Fantastic selection of ready cooked meals including great vegetarian options. The coffee shop is relaxing and service is good.Highly recommended

Quality local shop with plenty of healthy and hearty produce. The flapjacks are outstanding! They have had a robin fly in every day visiting since we've been here!

It's a nice quirky shop full of lots of niche interesting items. Bought quite a few Christmas presents here that are find other places. Didn't stay at cafe but looked cool.
