Otter Valley Dairy Ice Cream Summerhouse in East Devon

Great place to stop for lunch on the way back from Cornwall. Good quality food and keeping the cash out of the hands of the overpriced Service Stations. Amazing ice creams made on site too!

Beautiful location. Unfortunately there was no indication on the website of what time breakfast finished so turned up about 20 mins too late. My partner doesn't eat carbohydrate so after a discussion with the waitress about options, we figured we'd have the breakfast bap between us. Coffee (decaf oat flat white) was good but we were left a little disappointed about the food options.

Beautiful breakfast! Had to sit outside because we had the dog but it was a beautiful day. Full breakies came out in takeaway boxes but they had the option of recycling it so I was super chuffed with that! Breakfast was amazing and super filling

Breakfast with a view.. lucky the sun was shining as I ate my poached egg n salmon on toast… mine was delicious.. 10/10.. full breakfast was rated high too.. however the homemade hash browns were a little odd.. service was impeccable, smiley staff in a well presented modern building with amazing interior wooden structure..

What was once a small hut selling superb ice creams is now a lovely new build cafe with glorious views across the valley selling an assortment of pizzas, sandwiches, salads and specials along with the same superb ice cream. Absolutely worth a detour if you are not going along the A30, and somewhere to stop if you are.

Quality everything. Favourite breakfast of anywhere in the UK. We visited here 3 times in 4 days whilst staying in Devon eating breakfasts, pizza and ice cream, all of the highest quality.

Milkshake made with their gelato tastes amazing. Sandwich was tasty but not much to it. but looking around the pizzas and sausage rolls also look really good.Service was good and they have a nice view too.

"Coffee stop" on bike ride. Ended up having a pizza as well, which turned out to be a great decision as it was amazing. Looking forward to trying the ice cream on my next visit.Staff helpful and friendly. Passed the "can I have some water for my water bottle?" test.Located on busy A30 which can cause issue when leaving back towards Honiton. Be patient.Will definitely revisit.

I think it is the best cafe I have ever been to! Huge variety of ice-cream flavours, pizza, coffee and stunning views! I wish it was closer than 2.5 hours from our home. Highly recommend.

Great little place for a coffee or full english, or even a delightful icecream or a scone, tell you what just try everything! . Wonderful and fresh. Great parking, lovely views, lovely staff.
