The bedrooms and bathrooms feel clean and well maintained. Didn't eat at the Inn but highly recommended Flipside across the street for dinner and Coast on the seafront for breakfast. Parking charges are reasonable but the free wifi was poor.

Recently stayed here and was placed in room 202 which was unknown to us to be next to a staff only room. We had just finished work and decided to stay overnight for a short weekend break in the same hotel we were in that we got engaged nearby as it was an anniversary. We were greeted by a chap who checked us in and he was very cheerfully and welcoming. We got to the room, showered, dressed as it was the evening by now and headed straight to the Chinese restaurant not far away where we had the most amazing food and a few bottles of wine. We got back to the room late after the meal and the room was stuffy so turned the temperature right down on the aircon as you can't open the windows. During the night it was if the air con was buzzing and making a noise so tried to turn it off. Unbeknown to us after a very restless night not being able to sleep we went down for breakfast and as we left the room we realised that the noise was actually coming from the staff only room. We went for breakfast and the spotty girl serving snotty eggs looked like her hygiene need greatly improving. Then as we watched other staff topping up and handling the bread and croissants they were using their hands instead of tongs which they had just tied their hair up with. We complained about the lack of sleep to the manageress upon departure who just said the whole hotel is falling apart and needs a revamp then handed us a card for guest relations. Guess what! Stephanie from guest relations emailed back today saying we didn't follow their good night guarantee procedure and didn't complain at the time... Guess this is their way of fobbing you off. I've just opened a business account for travelodge as I used to stay weekly all over the country using Premier inns for business so that's never going to happen again! Oh and guess what! I listed all the problems I seen while staying at premier inns so when I'm bored and away, I will be posting for them also so hope Stephanie enjoyed reading the first of many reviews 👍

Absolutely shocking, unable yo sleep as room next to a staff room with air vents buzzing all night. Complained in the morning to be given a card for customer relations to be told that we did not complain? Breakfast was shocking snotty eggs staff cooking playing with her hair no hand washing, floor staff doing the same , customers handling the food not use tong’s, as were the staff absolutely shocking

Dreadful looking building in a fairly good location. Room was as expected. Restaurant was terrible. Slow (though friendly) service, menu items not available, some orders not brought to table, other orders were wrong order, lack of drinks selection (soft and alcoholic). Basically poor.

We stayed in room 16 the bathroom was discussing.Food not very good one morning at breakfast most of the cups on the tray needed re-washing.We stay in a lot of premium Inns and have always been happy but this one was a real let down.

Walked passed the hotel to see two members of staff smoking out the front, one sat on the table dancing around whilst smoking and the other sat on the chair smoking as well. I understand we all deserve a break.. but maybe not smoke right out the front next to the entrance when you are meant to be welcoming guests not letting them inhale your cigarette.

One of the beds wasn’t made, one of the meals looked like a school dinner, no tea or coffee at breakfast one day and the other day the food was cold. The manager explained the hot plates weren’t working so why continue to serve a cold breakfast? Or at least tell people before they sat down! The worst premier inn we’ve ever stayed in

Check-in was quick and easy. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, amazing for the money. There was fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, toast, juices, milk etc. The bacon, sausage etc. were prepared in small batches so very fresh and well cooked. I cannot fault this hotel for the money!

I think for the money and the overall experience the experience was great and the staff are very friendly the rooms are very clean. The sound insulation was great and generally a really good experience and cant recommend premier Inn enough. I have never used premier Inn before but I would definitely use them again in the quieter periods for value for money and really good night's rest. Imagery I stayed here in February when it was 2 degrees I don't know how busy the hotel will be in the summer and obviously a lot more noise but my experience just great

The room was very comfortable, but wasn't clean the bathroom had dust, there was no toilet roll, no sugar or hot chocolate with the tea and coffee. We pre-booked breakfast we were told it was on from 7am-11am we got there about 9 we were in a queue for 15/20min we were then sat at a table there were no cereal bowls available so had to wait then there was no tea plates available to top it off the cooked breakfast we couldn't have because they didn't have enough (we were not the only ones like this but they had their money back we couldn't) so it wasn't worth the money we paid for it.
